I really do appreciate that no matter how long you've been doing YT, or how big your channel gets, you never seem to lose your excitement over any type makeup, but especially affordable makeup! I do enjoy a lot of high end product lines, but I still find myself searching drugstore brands for hidden gems all the time, and I'm so happy that there are still makeup channels, like yours, that will devote time and enthusiasm to these products! You are RU-vid's Ray of Sunshine and we (your viewers), are SO blessed you are here. This video was fantastic. I am a huge fan of the L'Oreal lip colors since you recommended them. The price and quality is unbeatable. Also from L'Oreal, the Infallible Paints Metallics in Rose Chrome and Brass Knuckles can hold their own to any similar shade from a high end brand. The pigment and staying power is fantastic. I love that I don't need a brush to apply; a fingertip works just as well. Lastly, today's Em-ism is also a life philosophy..."It's what's on the inside that counts Y'all." Yup. Doesn't matter how well you can apply your makeup. If you don't have beauty on the inside to back it up, you're just another painted face. Thanks for being so much more than the makeup.
@@Mia444 Couldn't agree more! And it's not only the bigger channels. I can think of one I've loved and can't stand any more. Emily is the only one that has also branched out into other vlogs like family, lifestyle, travel, etc., and still managed to stay true to her original channel. It's also incredible that she still makes the time to engage with her supporters.

I would say the essence Lash Princess mascaras! Cute packaging, great dark black results. The new waterproof one is AMAZING for my oily eyelids 👍🏻 and they’re $5 🙌🏻

I love love love Revlon lipsticks. Their formula is amazing and their color selection is great. I have been wearing Revlon lipsticks for over 15 years.

I keep adding to my Ulta favorites list so I'll try them later. I added the concealer Emily mentioned here. I love the Tarte Creaseless concealer but not the price tag. The Pacifica is about half the price of the Tarte.
I keep having to PARE DOWN my Ulta favorites list...it ONLY holds 1,000 items! Derp! 🤦 I use it as a wishlist really and when it gets too full I go thru and mark only 1 of each item that I'm interested in, instead of every color. Now I'm going to have to make a separate list for all the individual colors/formulas/etc. Thank goodness for list-making apps!
The essence highlighter reminds me of something hourglass would put out! and the l’oréal freshwear foundation seems top notch as well! AND the Milani lipglosses are something that would seem to come out of becca or dior
I have to agree about Milani! Most every product I've tried from them has felt luxe. I also like the L'oréal fresh wear foundation I just can't find my perfect shade.

Please make more videos like this, make it a series!! I was sooooo close to buying the elf primer infused blush recently but decided to buy the cream blush instead that’s in a little pot. I did buy the primer infused bronzer though and am excited to try. Andrea Matilano convinced me to try it. I also have too many highlighters but I got a Huda beauty highlighting palette in my recent Ipsy glam bag plus that I 100% don’t need so Im just gonna give it away in the unboxing. I thought this video was about products that are expensive but can be justified in price because they’re worth it for some reason or another. I should have known Emily isn’t the kind of RU-vidr to constantly promote expensive products, she appreciates a good value. This is way better!

I have bought so many different lipsticks, but I always go back to my favorite - Revlon, my two current favorites are 535 rum raisin and 637 blushing nude. I read how Audrey Hepburn used shade 415 pink in the afternoon. You look beautiful as always Emily. Thank you for the awesome video.🌹
The Milani Color Statement lipsticks are my favorite, especially Matte Naked. It’s a gorgeous, comfortable and easy to wear no-fuss formula, the perfect shade for me, wears most of the day, and has beautiful packaging to boot. I recommend that line and that particular lipstick to everyone!
Once again Emily delivers with an original idea! That ELF blush in Always Rosy looks really pretty! I love tones like that. The Revolution product immediately made me think of the CoverFX drops.

As a mature watcher I am enjoying the Collab concealer in 101 for my under eyes. Not drying or showing any fine lines. I also love the PF butter bronzer and blush. Good for the skin and I do not look like a teenager. Very natural. I have been using the CYO foundation and it is beautiful. Lightweight and applies nicely in this Miami heat. Also the Revolution flick eyeliner pen recommended by you. Still trying to master a small wing but I am getting there. And of course my Revolution palettes by Emily Noel. I recently purchased the Nivea Lip balm in blackberry ~ I love it. It's perfect for summer .. a nice wash of color and is light on the lips ... no heavy fussy lipstick for me right now.

One product I'm impressed by that I purchased after one of your videos months back are the Covergirl cheekers blushes. I think they're my favorite blushes of all time. If they would just ditch the included brush and make the product pan a circle or square they'd be absolute perfection.

Love this video. I have been wearing Revlon lipsticks off and on for decades. Revlon's "Wine with everything" cream is the perfect intro to red for people who are nervous about wearing a bold lip. I rebought it last year and it still holds up and is so gorgeous on. Also, you look gorgeous in that color blue!

That Lacquered Strawberry lipstick looks absolutely stunning on you. I love your wonderful enthusiasm and thorough description of products. I've just discovered an amazing eye shadow base which I think rivals Urban Decay's "Eden". It's Essence's "I Love Stage Eye Shadow Base." If you have discoloration in your eyelid area, it works like a charm. I also absolutely love Wet n Wild's Megaglo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighters.
I absolutely love the Palladio metal crush eyeshadow and the L’Oréal infallible pressed eyeshadow (oldie but a goodie). They are so metallic and pigmented! I would’ve thought they were urban decay if I didn’t know
I love, love, love that L'Oreal Color Riche Shine in Varnished Rosewood. I just finished the last of one and plan to buy another, plus try another color or two. Such a pretty lipstick!

My stepgrandmother's second cousin, age 102 and looking fabulous, is a devotee of Revlon Certainly Red. If she needs a new lipstick and that one is not in the store, she is willing to go with a Fire and Ice or Cherries in the Snow. :):) This has been her look for decades, and an amazing look.
I LOVE this video! Great idea. Definitely do more of these! Some of my favorites are: Aveeno Ultra-calming daily moisturizer w/ SPF 15 (I use it as primer sometimes), e.l.f. Lock on Liner and Brow Enhancer, Lash Paradise, and Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liners.
The Milani Prep+Set+Glow illuminating face powder in transparent is sooo good. It is the most beautiful powder I have ever used. I have fairly oily skin and it never make me look greasy. It gives my skin a freshness. Worth more than $10 I’d say. I have to give you the credit for me using it though. Thanks so much!! 💗💗
I bought the Nivea Berry balm after the first time you showed it and it now lives in my purse! I love a berry balm/gloss stick that wears away well like Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey, a lipstick I've been wearing since middle school in the early 90s! Although they annoy me with the new collection launch every day, ColourPop's eyeshadow formula is amazing and best of all, consistent. I'm so glad they're at Ulta although I wish so many more of their products were carried but their shadows, lip products and blushes are great, especially their new blush sticks!
Fabulous video Emily. I agree with you completely about the Profusion pallets but I can't go past the shimmers that Rimmel have in their small pallets. I get compliments on my eyeshadow all the time when I wear them & I cannot justify spending more on something when a cheaper brand gives me as good a look. Have always loved Revlon's lustrous lipsticks Wine with Everything is a fav. 💕💕💕

My fave drugstore items that can hang with anything you buy at Sephora: Maybelline Falsies Mascara, Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder, Neutrogena Hydroboost lip balm, Jordana powder blushes, and Sinful Colors Nail polishes (especially their gel-like formulas, with the metallic caps). ♥️
I'm so happy to see the Super Lustrous lipsticks get the love they so richly deserve! They've been legendary for a few generations for darn good reason. And since you asked, I'll tell you: For my aging, combination, textured skin, my "I Can't Believe It's Not Expensive" hero product is L'Oreal True Match liquid foundation. It is so close to my holy grail Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet, it's practically a dupe -- if anything, I like it better than the Chanel because it's fragrance free. It blends on like a dream; doesn't creep into all the dents, dings, and divots on my face; and stays put for as long as I need it to. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go check out those ELF blushes... thanks as always, Emily :)

I just discovered the elf primer balm thing (the one everyone compares to the tatcha one) and it’s amazing!!! Such a different texture than squeeze or pump primers and I fell an immense difference in my base makeup looks and now I feel like I can’t live without it
I love these videos! Love the drugstore, but I’m so frustrated with how products have been tried by someone already. I had to return a lipstick to Rite Aid that had been used, but RA stuck a sticker back on it - a security tag - to hide that it had been used! Walgreens has a lot of testers, but still most products have been used. Ugh. I order online but can’t see the colors accurately. Sorry for the rant! I love your channel!

Great products! As for the Loreal Colour Riche Shine, I love it, and the packaging is beautiful ... but, I can't say how many times I've found the caps popped off in my purse makeup bag (I now put a rubber band around them lengthwise, which is also annoying), and I hate the notch that has to be lined up to put the cap on. I shouldn't have to examine my lipstick case so as to line up a notch, like when I'm trying to do a very quick touch up in a hurry, and I can't get the stinkin' thing lined up right! I love that lip product so, so much, in spite of these annoyances!
