Dark circles/eyebags can add so much definition on your face that, if you try to hide it, your face just doesn't look as pretty anymore. I love having them and I think I look way better with them.
that first product is the NYX brow pen! It’s so slept on. Sooo much cheaper than Benefit and I love it. I’ve been using it to cheat at microbladed brows for the past 2 years.
I hate using foundation and concealer, but many people in the makeup community crucify you for not doing it the way they do. I hate the cakey feeling of it and how it clogs my pores.
my skin improved so much and now i can wake up later and also focus more on the actual artistic parts of my makeup thanks to skipping foundation. my makeup looks better too, and i like seeing ny natural face with the different colors and pimple scars and all that stuff - makes me feel more human and also like an art piece tbh
I can't do anything the makeup community expects because my skin on my face sweats in the humidity in NYC so I have to wear SPF with translucent powder over it
yeah i have sensory sensitivities and i’m super picky with the lightweight foundations im okay with, it’s hard cause i’m in a tropical area so all brands go full matte so it can actually last but i hate it lol, don’t mind seeing my real skin anymore
@@erenyeagar4686 that’s such a lovely way of looking at it, Eren Yeager! I also have very oily skin and I can’t stand seeing the foundation slowly sweat off and having to reapply it just for it to oil off again. It’s an absolute sensory nightmare for me. Glad to see I’m not the only one does this 💜
I have really similar skin texture and I recently stopped using foundation( not concealer yet :,)). Feels good to see more people being confident with they’re natural skin
I love this looks. I’m 35 now and I’m starting to hate how my skin looks when I have foundation and concealer on. I look older with those two things than without.
@@prosti.typrav there are specific prescription creams that help but it's a lifelong condition unfortunately :( it also really depends on the type of rosacea you have
@@prosti.typravnless you have money to get laser treatments? But rosacea is pretty much incurable, the only way to decrease redness and rosacea bumps is if you have a consistent skincare routine containing an antifungal and anti microbial product like Sulfur ointment and a moisture barrier cream that has good active probiotics for the skin and can help heal cracked and flakiness of the skin and Azelaic acid serum with more hyaluronic acid for more moisture and benefits. Also having a good diet with a healthy gut biome helps a lot. Most people who have rosacea also suffer from a lot of scalp issues and that’s from the fungus and mite population on the skin so its really beneficial to use an antifungal that can destroy demodex mites and the yeast build up on the skin.
what product do you use for freckles? i don't use foundation and you just gave me an idea to put on some freckles as a distraction from skin imperfections!
There’s freck which is higher end, pretty sure Lottie London also makes a freckle pen- but imo a brown eyebrow pen works the same, just make sure you blot it before it dries :)
Brown liquid liner is a cheap alternative to the ones sold as freckle pens. I personally use Henna before bed on my day off then by the time I gotta go anywhere, they're dark and pretty. But eyeshadow works, I recommend wetting your brush. Honestly, anything brown 🤷
I really like this and I do the same thing sometimes. I remember I used to never be able to leave my house without foundation..I’m glad that phase is over for me lol
this is literally how i do my makeup every day. i hate wearing foundation, it's never light enough, concealer just looks wrong and cakey for the same reason, and contouring looks like dirt on my skin tone.
I never use base makeup either. It just does not work on me, and I hate how disgustingly plastic it looks. I do use a dot of concealer underneath each of my eyes, though. I use blush as a contour (you put it on the cheekbone to make it stand out), and often apply glitter or a light eyeshadow to my eyes. I finish off with eyeliner, and a very faint lipline to define the cupid's bow.
I only use concealer when I have acne coming through and I never use foundation. I hope we could learn to do our makeup like this more. Btw ur skin is flawless
basically my daily makeup i used to be so insecure about my dark circles but i saw more of my friends not caring and also doing makeup without concealer and it gave me courage to do too :) now i feel that dark circles compliment my look 😂
I Love this! I haven't worn foundation/concealer for about 2 years now cuz I make myself look older applying it (I sorta suck at makeup). I do a similiar thing but don't touch up my eyebrows since I over do the concealer w/o foundation under. But this just inspires me to shave my brow corners and give it a practice again. Sometimes I feel like the makeup could look so much more glam if I used the found/con, but seeing that you rock this look, regardless of your awesome full face makeup skills, inspires me since you look just as awesome regardless. Thank you!
been doing this for a long time and I totally prefer it. I always cringe when people with beautiful, beautiful skin put cakey foundation over it. I get it as art but as a daily thing? the glow and smoothness of real human skin is just too wonderful to give up. lovely!
yay!! somebody who doesnt curl their lashes!! day to day when i used mascara i never curl my lashes bc i love how they look without it, cartoony and a little whimsy, its like lazy liner/structure enhancement too
