It takes me a while, finding alot of the stuff they want isnt always easy to find. Plus i inly know the isles i go down, its usually the same stuff lol
I just started with my wife. 5 stars. Only pick the best orders. 70% of people dont tip. Never take those, you'll be lucky to come out making 3-4 bucks an hour after expenses. Did 5 batches yesterday. 2-3 orders per batch. Beat time, worked 7 hours. Made $122 for the day. Split between us thats 60 bucks, take out 10 for gas, oil, wear and tear. That 50, for an 8 hour day. Thats only taking the best orders. Thats 6 dollars/hour after expenses, not including taxes im going to have to pay for end of year total. People thats about what you can expect to make as an instacart shopper!. Just was doing as a side hustle for extra cash, not sure how much more of this bs im gonna take.

I don't know where you are but in Fr Lauderdale I never see any batches in $40 or above range... and of the $20-$30 batches I guarantee... High mileage and tons of units!! $25.92...19.8 mi ...46items67 units $35.98...27.5 mi..52 items 84 units!! So It's funny seeing you screenshot stuff like...$45.24...3.2 miles...25 items..33 units!! Makes me think we working for two different companies!! 😂
Your lucky to be an area where you can get great batches. I never see batches like that ones you've seen. The batches in central New Jersey are crap. I can average $120 per day so in a two week pay period that would be $1680 working 7 days per week.
I chase the incentives. I've made like $250 to $300 in a single day. But I also work from 6 am to 8 pm, so like 14 hours per day 7 days per week. I don't have a life but I need the money so it's necessary at this point in time. Subtract my expenses like gas, extra oil changes, other car repairs, eating food on the road, and I make much less.@@adventuresofperseus945

Yeah, you just have to start early but you’re also in a market that probably 98% of people are not in. It is not normal to make what you make in most areas . I’m happy for you tho. Cool
Every day your tier changes as to when you see batches. You have more opportunities with 1st tier obviously but you can make money on any tier as once those shoppers are shopping your next in line. The store has nothing to do with it although more shoppers will sit in costco parking lot than anywhere else.
@johnjohnson9915 My husband and I shop daily and compare who sees orders first. On days he has priority he will beat me to all orders as he will see them slightly ahead of me. That's how we know where we stand for the day and will alter our strategy accordingly. Low priority tier equals take easy batches over only waiting for bangers. Seattle market
@@courtneylee9711 FYI this is just a part-time gig for me, in addition to a full time job. I also deliver for DoorDash and Uber eats. My customer rating is a good, but not great 4.96/5. Is diamond cart worth it? Im the type of delivery person that can be pretty selective with what orders i choose. Do you do every order?
Good video u motivate me to try n work more my area be on n off like u said with the no priority I think I get whole days like that so it force me to just quit for the day it atleast happens twice a week so I can never maximize my mom it suck . 4 or 5 good days 2 or 3 bad days is always how it goes
