One of the things I like about this project is that you don't need any tools or expensive materials to make a high quality piece. This leather wall art can simply be made using leather scraps or leftover straps, and these techniques are scalable to any decor, large or small. This particular piece was designed to be wall art for a living room or bedroom, but you could just as easily make anything from a small coaster to a large coffee table or wall centrepiece. If you're someone who's looking for home decor DIY projects, or looking for scrap leather project ideas, this do-it-yourself leather art would be a unique talking piece in any home.
