This was my first attempt at pouring my own foundation. I used 1/2" OSB with a basic rib structure made of 2x4 and 2x2 lumber.
This turned out to be "penny wise and pound foolish" as I spent a lot of time straightening and reinforcing the forms in preparation for concrete. Next time, I'll use 3/4" plywood screwed to a full wall-style structure which I frame first (full 2x4s on 16" centers).
But in the end, it came out fine. And I was still able to reuse all of this wood for other stuff.
