It looks like you're doing all this very intuitively, but it might be helpful if you could narrate the choices you're making when you construct something like this. Maybe talk about how the other sounds support the lead melody. Your spacial arrangement is very carefully crafted in how you let every sound breathe, maybe talk about why you chose the rhythm you did. I see a lot of young producers fill every void sonically and it ends up being too muddy. You obviously know chords, maybe talk about why you chose those chords and the type of sound they produce. Love these videos man, keep it up. It's a great learning opportunity for those that want to learn to make fire tracks like you.
One tip which people overlook all the time... You just gotta try. Simple as that. Personally when I first started wanting to make beats, I was like "Fuck, I ain't gonna be able to make beats. My shit sound like some white kid tryna get into trap music" Over time (with the help of piano lessons. You don't need lessons, you can actually just play around with an instrument to get you goin but this definitely helped imo) I actually got good at just playin wit new sounds and shit. Ofc I ain't a pro on the keyboard or piano, but now it takes like 15 min for me to make a beat. In the past, took my ass 40 near to an hour bruh. Just keep goin, try new shit and be consistent. Shit gon be lit in the end listenin to yo own beats bruh
You just couldn't have saved some talent for others huh? You just HAD to be greedy lmao. Why tf can you do EVERYTHING?!?! Meanwhile I can't walk and eat an ice cream cone at the same time 😂😭😭.
