Anyone remembers NEBELMACHT back in 2003? The synths where even played by feet, and reached good reviews anyway, had their own website, names, biography... you can still find it on YT. Oh, and the cover was Caspar David Friedrich + some early Photoshop. Props to the mighty Grindfuckers.

I laughed and had fun (clicked like too) But I need to say: at first glance A.I. has trivialized illustration, especially for artists who draw and paint (like me) A.I. impresses a lot, but it has also scared illustrators. App are making the Arts more accessible to anyone (that's great) The price of an illustration is how long it takes to make (+ complexity/detail) The pleasure of working with the arts is also in the process.
I very much share your worries. But there is one thing AI can’t do. And that is creating the exact translation of your ideas. AI art has zero meaning in it. It looks pretty, but is actually is pretty looking bullshit. The best part of art is the journey to get the perfect image for your means. Creating art has a therapeutic effect as well. It is an expression output to feelings that words most times can’t suffice. That being said, only shallow pricks will use AI for their art. You will never be wanting them as a customer anyway.
