This is a video about American black metal bands new and old. Obviously there are plenty more USBM acts out there, but this should give you a decent peek at what's on offer here. I just felt like talking about some music that I like. FYI some of these bands I've listened to for over a decade, while I've listened to a few others for as little as a few months. I didn't want this to be a simple assortment of American bands I like. I've definitely given a bunch of attention to some of my absolute favorites here, but I wanted to focus on stuff that was impactful too, even if not particularly nostalgic or spectacular in my eyes.
Let me know of any glaring omissions, or what other USBM projects you're into.
PS. It sounds like I'm saying "El Tigre del Sol," but it's supposed to be "El Tigre del Sur." Sorry for the brain fart. I messed up on some other pronunciations too. Crucify me why don'tcha?
