In this video I take a 177 year old Swedish Kids Bed and making a Cosy Kids Box Bed out of it for my son. The base is a sad white Ikea bed, that gets wrapped in Birch Plywood and old timey Scandinavian Cuteness. It does require some antique demolition, but all the pretty stuff gets saved, I promise :)

jep, it was a simple facebook post I believe in a Swedish facebookgroup for Brussels residents (strange, I know) and so the whole thing started with driving an enormous bed home stuffed in the back of a town car. Then the rest marinated in my head for a few weeks until I decided to slice it apart :)

It took a while to build, Hence all the t-shirt changes in my the final film. Next week the ladder video “goes up” (pun intended)

Yes I did. If by destroy you mean took it all apart and used every single piece in a different part of my house, whereby this old bed is now 6 different things that all get lovingly used daily. Then yes, it is a tragedy. I see it differently. But all opinions are welcome. And thank you for watching!
