The matching of the embroidery thread made my heart happy...and is absolutely something I have done before. Your stays turned out so pretty! I love the cording. I am going to have to keep a look out for some pretty fabric to make myself another pair. 🌻

Oooooh this version is perfect... I'm looking for something and have been watching a TON of stays videos but I'll have to bookmark this one... I have large bust and these seem like they'd work (*crosses fingers*). I procrastinate a lot though so we'll see how long it takes me to try this. Love the look of the patterned fabric as regular clothes... I second starting a trend to wear them out. ♡♡♡♡

Well I think that’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. How did you get the fit so perfect? And how did you finish off the corded ends? Do they ever pop back out?

Thank you so much! I've already used this pattern once before, so I had a pretty good idea of how it would fit already. Also, Laughing Moon's patterns are really good and fit nearly perfectly on their own! The corded ends are just cut on the inside close to where they pop out of the fabric, they're quite stuck inside the channels and are extremely unlikely to work their way out.

So, after making this, did you wear it as everyday wear? Also, was it as comfortable as it looked to me. I really want to make a support garment using cotton and/or linen. You did a lovely job btw.

I haven't worn it recently since it's been too hot to wear several layers, but I will probably wear it more now that things are cooling off for the fall! It's quite comfortable! I like this pattern very much in both the short and long versions.

May I ask you something that might be a personal question? Why do you wear gloves when sewing? Does it help with the fabric? You don’t have to answer if this is inappropriate. Beautiful work. I love the fabric.

Thanks for watching! The gloves are compression gloves, which help immensely with muscle soreness in my hands when I'm doing a lot of hand sewing. Compression gloves are usually meant for arthritis relief, but they also help with any other hand pain too!

I wear them for long hours of knitting. But mine are grey, didn’t realise you could get pink ones 😮😍

Thank you for responding. After I sent this I thought maybe you were cold. As a woman of a certain age, being cold never enters my mind. In fact as I was watching your video I was trying to figure out how I could open the window, turn on the fan, and remove any unneeded clothing! LOL I too have never seen pink compression gloves. I will have to look for some.
