Making A Custom Electric Guitar (Full Build) 

Simply Beautiful,, it has a Paul Reed Smith kinda vibe, I tried to build my own guitar but instead of a PRS it was a POS.

That takes a whole hell of a lot of knowing WTF you're doing. Great job man

this is so relaxing that i’d fall asleep on and off during the sanding portions. don’t mean that as an insult either. such soft and gentle technique making the whole sculpt look and feel like butter with such beautiful natural design from the wood all under the time lapse just sets your mind down the best most relaxing thing you could watch. not even to mention the guitar in the background complimenting the whole thing. really hope i can make something like this one day.

Might I recommend a trapezoidal neck profile for your next build? I filed one of my necks into a straight endurneck-type profile which is completely flat on each plane and it instantly became my favorite neck. You can't really find them out in the wild so your only option is to kinda build or shape your own, and you have the tools and knowledge to do so...just a thought. I know it changed the way I interact with the neck on a tactile level for the better.

This is a brilliant idea for a video. If I were a custom shop I would make one like this, too. There are MANY builders who rely heavily on assembling parts. There is nothing wrong with that. However, if a luthier has the skill set to build from scratch, proving it on RU-vid for everyone to see makes a lot of sense. Well done👍

I think I’m gonna build a guitar of similar construction sometime soon, so this video helps a lot! I’ve had a body style I’ve been drawing up that I thought would be cool since I was a kid. I think I’ll leave the sides of the top unfinished for a natural wood binding though 🤔

Great job, Awesome guitar. I have made a few guitars and I can appreciate your craftsmanship. I like the tiger (curly) maple on the front of the guitar. I made a box guitar and used wormy (ambrosia) maple for the front and back with walnut on the sides. I used hickory for the neck.
