Nate, your channel is criminally underrated. I love when you post new videos. They're very relaxing and zen for me, watching as you build a rhythm, seeing the part gradually fall into the desired form. With RU-vid saturated with content showing machined parts, it's really refreshing to see the artful methods used here in this more traditional practice. If you enjoy what you're doing, then please, keep doing what you're doing!
Holy shit I was unprepared to actually tear up when reading comments. Thanks so much for your support, I got lots of videos I want to make and I'll be showing more of my process! I'm pretty adamant about using hand tools, although machines are great, I much prefer the "forge smarter grind less" approach to things
hey Nate, I myself use a slingshot with tubular slings, the way I've come to understand it is that they're not really worse than flat ones, though you don't have as much control over the strength of the slingshot since you can't cut strips off the side
Not trying to be just a dick, just a small correction and a comment for the algorithm I think you said it for a joke, but I believe that the sling David used against Goliath is the one that you spin, not the slingshot as the one you made in the video
Hey Nate, we love your contents. We would like to send you a token of appreciation for your hard work and passion to blacksmithing. Is there any way I could send you the gift? By the way I am from Down Under Bedding and we would love to send you one of our premium leather apron for free because we love you.
David killed Goliath with a sling, not a slingshot. Slingshots can hunt birds, slings can arm companies of ancient ranged soldiers nigh on par with archers
nate i love your content, however i don’t think i can support you after you destroyed that beautiful clown figure. i collect clowns and would have loved to see that be added to my collection :(
