It was time to upgrade the hard brick to soft insulating brick i wanted to make this one bigger and be able to expand and improve upon it in the future the bricks i sourced locally from a potter supply store they are also available online but shipping adds up quickly so i would recommend looking local its my venturi burner

They are all cracked down the center but they have not yet crumbled away and still provide insulation I think in the future I will either line brick with itc-100 or do an entire kast-o-lite forge

@@MoodysGarage92 cool ty for the honest update good luck ... I think I'm gonna cost mine with Mizzou I'm hoping that will give them a little more time before they crack

Mizzou is also great it’s very durable just make sure it gets cured right plenty of info out there on it and don’t worry when cracks form it happens as long as it doesn’t crumble it will retain heat
