You do realize that they didn't sponsor the jam right? Brackeys made the game before the sponsorship even happened.

@@Sevendogtags I've never thought about the game jam sponsors before, I was merely remarking upon the predicament of providing product placement to a competitor of the company that'd paid Brackeys for exposure. Because in bird culture, this is considered a mild indiscretion.

Bosca Ceoil is not really a competitor. And the game in the video was made before the sponsorship was acquired by Brackeys. What you're asking for is simply impossible.

This was my first game jam, I spent 3-4 days making a menu then realized I'd really messed up in my time management and couldn't finish my full idea but I'm happy with the result and the fact I made it all myself. Really wished I had a group of friends interested in game dev to work with tho.

Awesome video Brackeys! And by the way, coming as a slight Irish speaker, Bosca Ceoil is pronounced "bus-ka kuh-yol". Bosca actually means box in Irish and Ceoil means music, so it translates to Music Box! I presume Terry Kavanagh used this naming scheme as he is Irish himself.

I started my game jam project less than 4 days before the deadline, and I completed it 2 hours after the deadline. It was my first jam and was fun, intense and really helped me see how creative I can be in a short time. But, there's always a next time, and I'll make it.

It's a short story based platform game about an AI, the titular character who serves as the player's guide, but uses him for it's own advantage through trickery and deceit.

That bosca ceoil software comes from the Irish words box and music so it means music box. Just an fyi, it’s pronounced bus-ka ky-ole. The ‘y’ is pronounced like it is in ‘yeah’. From Ireland so I know that others may see it is as quirky in one way or another

you should make a game jam where games are made from scratch based on OS API calls or maybe in to restrict the developer to use only some limited amount of Unity features.
