Josh that is super cool. The 3d print pen was a nice touch. That could be used in a lot of projects to give it a pinstripe effect. I super liked the wedges sticking out. Gives it a nice look along with the large ones on the end. Excellent project.

My dude, way to get through it & start ALL over again. You know what they say "you go to school on the first one" - school geography pun NOT intended lol By the way, love the oscillating tool use. I had never seen it used that way... but who am I'm kidding, you ALWAYS do things I haven't seen been done before lol

This is the coolest use of technique I've seen in a long time, I love the way you apply them. As an itty bitty nitpick/ curiosity: why was your plan to carve out the continents rather than digging out the oceans and leaving the continents slightly raised?
@Zamboni-0805
@Zamboni-0805 Год назад
Tell me where you buy your wood that is square/flat and good to go. The wood I get needs to acclimate then ran through the jointer and planer before I will even use it. I would be interested in you doing a video on buying wood that is perfectly square and flat directly from the wood supplier.
@Sheldadingo33
@Sheldadingo33 Год назад
You have a beautiful mind, young man. So very talented. The second one did look nicer with all of that wood color contrast but oh man... That must have been heart breaking, not missing the trash can...lol but tossing all that work. ( I'm terrible with geography as well and when I draw or paint earth, I have to always check.. I've just watched 3 of your videos and I am in love with your work. I want to make a Cajon (Drum Box). Is that something you've done? There are some plain ones but there are also some very unique and beautiful Cajons. ...

Awesome project, very nice! PS: Perhaps it's just me but it seems to me that you're working much safer these days. With the older videos I was sometimes cringing to be honest ;) Very happy to see that, fingers are gone in a fraction of a second and you make amazing projects so that would be a waste.

Question, Josh: why not cut the coves on your table saw? Another great project! It came out very nice indeed!
@JoshWrightWoodworking
@JoshWrightWoodworking Год назад
Thanks Billy! With the miter saw, I dont need to make a jig to cut coves and it is easier to quickly adjust the angle to find the cove size I like. With that said, I think with a good, easily adjustable jig, the table saw would be safer and faster.
