I made the hat using dollar Tree faux leather. Only needed 5 panels for the size hat I needed. Sewed. Thank you for sharing!!

I hear you mention that you have trouble with tying knots, here is how I do it and it works every time. After you tread your needle take the end farthest from the eye of the needle (the end of thread where you want the knot) and hold it against the needle and wrap the thread around the needle towards the point of the needle several times then slowly pull the needle through the wraps pulling the thread all the way making a knot. Just that easy. Hope this is clear enough to help anyone tie a knot quick and easy.

Hi Duane. I received my pttern thank you so much. Now I have another question for you. Can you make an Irish cap with this pattern or do yiu have a pattern to make such a cap. I am asking you because you make easy patterns for us that are not so talented as you. And I have made so many gnomes with your patterns it would be great to find a pattern that fits your gnomes. Duane, Love your baseball cap. One of my patrons wants me to make her a Diamonback gnome! Here's my question to you. In making a baseball cap how would I go about designing the cap smooth but not having separate seams all around the hat . The reason why l'm asking is my client wants the letter A put on the front of the baseball cap. Can you help me with this and hopefully you understood my question. Hope to hear from you.
