I used 0,6-0,7mm veneer and I boiled the strip first to make it bendable. Different veneers require different boiling times. Thank you!

@@b.b.crafts6363 Thank you, I figured it out and also boiled the veneer too. Soaking the veneer for an hour or more works just as good without having to clean a pot.
