A hatband is a simple project. It is basically just a small belt. I made this one in about an hour.
I am always working on building something and try to average a RU-vid video once a week. Most often leather work, but I have also posted videos on black smithing, knife making, casting, and even how I make soap. Be sure to Subscribe if you are interested in any of these topics, or just making things in general.

How about making a cross draw holster for a 14" barreled Contender single shot. A practical good-looking holster with maybe a shoulder strap or two, its a heavy gun. A holster that a medium sized man can draw a long barreled pistol from easily. I don't think a behind the back holster(or behind the neck) would work too well for me because I'm not that flexible. I'm considering a speed draw holster where the front of the holster is open and only holds the first two or three inches of the pistol barrel, but I'm not sure if the holster would retain its shape for the long haul.

I don't sell custom holsters online. I have a full-time job and enough business locally to keep me busy. Sorry.

Love your videos very informative and no excessive bs :) , one question...where do you get your paper for pattern making?

I am currently mostly using a paper somewhat like like poster board. I have a big roll of it that I lucked into. I also like using scraps of rolled linoleum flooring. I will also just draw up patterns on regular copy paper but they are usually only good once unless I copy them onto something heavier.

amazing, you didn't have gloves on up to your elbows like all these young YTers, and didn't get covered in horrible flesh eating chemicals. I've survived not wearing gloves for almst 7 decades , some things I have don't would make the younguns drop dead of a heart attack. great looking hat band

I do wear gloves sometimes if I am expecting to make a real mess. They are less for protecting me and more so I don't leave fingerprint stains on everything around me. Most dyes and stains now are pretty safe. I have seen the occasional 40 or 50 year old glass bottle of dye with skulls on the label though.
