After taking the original video down and adding a couple of things for context we are good to go. In this video I make a knife for the Simple Little Life build-along with a piece of scrap Damascus and some Zebra wood handle scales.

I'm just beginning knife making...when you say 2 one hour cycles @400°, do you mean that you heat it to 400 for 1 hr, allow it to cool completely, and then repeat the process again?

What kind of player are you using that lets you bring it back to 45 degrees? You did this shaping the front ends of the handle scales.

It is the platen that came standard with my Brodbeck grinder, they have them available on their website. Housemade has platen kits for sale on their site that are pretty reasonable priced as well. I appreciate you watching.
