Fantastic! As a professional puppeteer, can I just say how refreshing it was that you didn't crop the video to just the theatre, and you let us see your hands moving/ picking up the next puppets etc. Makes for a far more engaging experience and helps to bring the magic of puppetry to the digital space.
I am in awe??? This is amazing??? I’m so inspired and impressed at how you made this in such a short amount of time! Also creds to Sophie for coming up with this idea and helping along like a champ!!❤
I've been watching your channel for close to 8 years now, and I'm loving Sophie's involvement most recently! I think you both are so incredibly creative and talented and seeing you both work together has always been cool. it's awesome seeing y'all's brains click together :)
the way you completed this challenge so quickly!! this was so incredible omg, like the puppet show absolutely blew my mind! all the different set pieces and speech bubbles and dynamic movements were so impressive :') like the part revealing fuji and the blinking eyes and the running were so well done! and this was such a great idea from sophie omg, loved this whole vid so much!!
I would never have thought of shadow puppetry as an art-form outside of a kindergarten classroom, but I stand corrected! Great video, and a lovely little story, Peej!
We tried something like shadow puppetry for a creative science assignment at uni. It wasn't nearly as good as PJ's, but it's actually really fun to do and a lot harder to do right than you'd expect
Omg…i finished watching and sat gawping at the scream for a few minutes like “my god that was incredible!!” Everything about it was beautiful; the storyline, the puppet design, the your narration!! PJ this is so good!! I’m shook!
"That all weirdly makes perfect sense to me", he says, as if anyone in the world would have guessed that he doesn't have the right combo of creativity, skills, and just the slightest dash of madness to absolutely crush shadow puppetry. It makes sense to PJ because if the first step to an art project is "chop up a cardboard box", he will be good at it.
This was so whimsical and magical to watch I felt like a kid again. This feels like something I would of seen on TV as a short segment before another show started.
This was so lovely!!! The design of the characters is so good and the story was sweet! Also getting super distracted at the art store is so relatable lol
That was incredible - an enthralling story that was still very you, super clear puppets, just really well made! I love seeing your creativity in so many different ways!
What a delightful and dynamic puppet show! the storytelling has that PJ magic that makes it so feel-good ❤️ Creating the story, figuring out how it'd be told, crafting all the silhouettes, and putting on the show in such a short amount of time?? (not to mention filming and editing it all!!) I admire it so much, this was a whole journey and I loved every second of it 😍
This was amazing! I was just thinking about projects for kids at my work and I think that a shadow puppet theatre might be a huge success! Thank you for inspiration
This is incredible! Nice work PJ and Sophie, you guys should make you're own TV show! Loving this new series you're doing, keep up the great content ❤👍
pj i loved it so much! i loved seeing whole whole process of you learning something new. it turned out amazing. i hope if you feel inspired we may see another show at the shadow theater someday ❤
