Making a HUGE Ethical Jaguar Habitat 

I absolutely love that you add accessible paths for people with mobility issues or wheelchair users- like it's not necessary gamewise but you still make sure that the zoo is accessible to disabled people while taking care of the animals!

The name “Jaguar” actually comes from the indigenous word “yaguar” which means he who kills with one leap! Also I was wondering if you could name one of the jaguars “hutizilapotchli” or maybe just “huitzil” after the Aztec god of the sun/war.

Something I've started doing in my own zoos to help prevent inbreeding is putting babies on contraceptives as soon as they're born😂 it doesn't affect their overall fertility gene, and they can be taken off if need be for any reason. but it definitely helps prevent getting all the "about to inbreed" notifications!💚 especially when you start to have a larger zoo! love your videos, and I can't wait for the next!

Could you add heavier doors to the bat enclosure, so its dark inside which bat's are naturally used to. For the guests to see them use a deep red light as it doesn't mess with the bat's habits. (I'm sorry if I come across as pushy)

I love the ethics for the animals… but you should probably get more employees! Im not sure if its a mechanic in game or not, but having at least two vendors per vendor area would be more ethical for your employees

I had a serious problem with my jaguars climbing trees and jumping the fence! I'd double check that they can't escape now that you've put all those lovely trees in.

I think the male jaguar being named el jefe would be pretty good it’s based off the only known male jaguar that is currently living in the U.S( Jaguars used to thrive in Texas in America but do to over hunting they were driven out)

Jaguar fun fact: They actually have an unusual method of killing their prey. A jaguar tries to go for the head if it can, that's where its bite force comes into play the most since the goal is to pierce the skull.

Additionally, although a more minor note- hand rails! Or some sort of fence equivalent for uphill/downhill paths. Remember that you can disable climbing on any piece so you don’t have to sort by climbable and can use whatever piece you want.

I LOVE how you did their enclosure, i got a bit concerned when you started using baobabs since they're not native to here or other regions jaguars inhabit, but you soon deleted them and made it much more familiar! It turned out beautiful, i love the waterfalls and how you used the natural elevation to make that rock wall to put them in, veey creative. I did get worried about the trees being so close to the fences, but luckily the game doesn't consider how good climbers and jumpers jaguars are lol. I heard a jaguar one time close to my house (at least i think it was one, there were rumours of one mother with a couble of cubs being nearby). I've never heard that little sound coming from the woods afterwards, it was like all the animals held their breaths, and the smell was very noticeable when we opened the window, even though we didn't see anything. We have dogs so we're fenced in and i don't believe she'd want the trouble with them but it was still scary (and exciting, ngl)

I didn't even know this game existed, but now I've watched all the episodes of Ethical Zoo thus far. It's really nice! Love the relaxed vibe, the casual educating me about animals, and the awesome building. That being said, if I was a visitor to this zoo, I would not feel entirely safe with that jaguar fence. Giant cats can jump REALLY high, and I don't care what the game mechanics say. It looks scary flimsy for them xD

I discovered this channel recently, and after watching all of the ethical zoo videos so far, I’m enthralled. Your voice is so soothing and the gentle music choices make it a great sleep aid, and the builds are spectacular! It’s very inspiring and makes me want to pick up The Sims 4 and actually try to make some builds. I would love for you to tackle an aquarium style build, but I don’t know what options are in Planet Zoo. As for name suggestions, I would love it if you named one of the emus Stompy, after the emu ambassador at Alveus Sanctuary. For the jaguar, maybe Galileu, which is a character from a Brazilian comic book called Turma do Pererê. And for the fruit bats, I think it would be fitting if you named them after fruits, like Apple or Blueberry or, if you want to get really weird with it, Guava. I love this series, and I can’t wait to see more episodes!

I am so glad I came upon your channel, you are very fun to watch! Love how accessible you are making everything, from the entrance to getting around the exhibits! Doing a great job thinking of the needs of both animals AND humans! :) Can't wait to see how the bats' area get's decorated once it's fully unlocked! Something I would love to see you do in the future is create shelter using the rocks instead of the building pieces. You always make great looking rock features and I feel like you could make something really amazing and naturalistic for some animal that needs the shelter and lives in a rocky environment. Something I've noticed is that when you are modifying the landscape in a new habitat, it always brings the expenses up above the income and then it works itself out in a month or two in game time. Especially with donation bins in!

im not an expert on planet zoo, but if you're worried about temp for your guests you could try hiding coolers on their paths or high traffic areas? just so they arent like.. getting heatstroke lol like i know it may not affect them because its an animal enrichment item, but idk!! just a possible suggestion! :)

(and in general) i have (lots of) names that i feel like could work for most of the different species and genders(: mocha, scarlet, jeans, marcel, boba, jinx, bonnie, pepper, karma, pumpkin, zelda, onix, camomile, chili, jerry, tom, lavender, serena, jasmine (female jaguar), atlas, juniper, lilac, silvia.. and i feel like i could keep coming up with more & more!!

Just finished your eco zoo playlist, and i'm so happy you post a new video for the ethical zoo!! One thing i want to tell you before i forgot again, i want you to add fence around the finished zoo. It's just my logical and because i'm asian living in asia country. It's actually kind of triggering me seeing places without fence around it hahaha. For me, fence has so much benefits. Of course it's to tell others that the place is ours, but it's to give a security too. And i hope you can make it happen ☺️❤ Oh and you can hire bunch of vets to help researching animal and fire them when it's done lol Oh, and don't forget to add bunch of guest facilities and education so they can enjoy more when visiting your zoo. And maybe a second entry way in some where when the zoo in large size? I know the zoo is still small, but remember it for your zoo when it gets bigger and bigger 😂

One suggestion that i have that could help alleviate the guests heat problems would be some gazebo areas?? The country that i live in is very hot, so areas that have large shade such gazeebos are life savers

you should definitely try to keep the names of the jaguars to be still in nahuatl or another language indigenous or central america i think thats so cool

Great job on organizing

With the sweltering summer temperatures, would it help to provide more shade along the walkways? Perhaps you could plant some broad-crowned trees along all the paths so the people get some shade too, like the animals have in their habitats. Perhaps split the very wide paths at the viewing windows to create a median for planting the trees - leaving half the path width for those standing still and looking at the animals, and the other half for people moving past, but providing both with better shade (and some benches). Or in some areas you could create some kind of colonnade or pergola, with a roof of beams spaced one beam-width apart, so they're still open air but only half the sunlight gets through - then you can plant some climbing vines on them too. I'm not sure if all that timber would cost too much? Or some more awnings, shade sails, a semi-permeable 'roof' made of colorful umbrellas as some narrow shopping streets in Europe have as decoration during summer, or some kind of camouflage netting used for dappled shade - I don't know what is possible, I just bought the game and am watching your series for inspiration.

Oooooooo i love jaguars (here we call them onças pintadas), could you call one of them Matí or maybe Tainá?? Matí is the name of the jaguar who acted in the brazilian novela (soap opera in english i think?) Pantanal, where one of the characters transformed into her to protect her daughter. Tainá is a series of brazilian movies following the adventures of an indigenous girl (called Tainá) in the Amazon forest, as a kid i loved the scenes with jaguars (at least one of which was rescued from poachers irl!) Fun fact! The word jaguar comes from the indigenous language Tupi, îagûara, which funnily enough is used for a lot of languages in the world but not as much here lol. Though we do call ocelots "jaguatiricas" (like... Tiny jaguars?)

A cool idea I think would be to add more canopies to the visitor paths to reduce the complaints about the heat. You already kind of have some around the Australian area, but those don’t cover much. Maybe canopies in the middle of the paths throughout the zoo.

From my experience all emus we've owned(irl) love water. Especially sprinklers and misters. I wonder if the emus in the game have an interactive animation for more water sources(like sprinklers ect), since they have a swimming animation.

if you have any baby animals in the Australia exhibit you should name them after the irwins (Steve, Terri, Bindi, and Robert) The irwins are massive aussie icons (I saw this in the last video and i think its such a good idea please consider it :D

You can pre-emptively put animals on contraceptives as babies via the animal tab in zoo management its a whole lot easier

Maybe you could add some coolers for the guests in indoor areas. The coolers are usually for animal habitats but it would make sense to have air conditioning in buildings.

I love these videos! I don't know what your accent is but it makes your voice sound very relaxing, maybe name a Jaguar ' ' Kindiori ' ' or maybe ' ' Dilendor ' ' or ' ' Stykien ' '? Kindiori means Neptune in my made up code language and Dilendor means Shadow, Stykien also means Strike. Also, about the hot climate problem, i live in a hot area and most of the zoos near me have misters and coolers, might help.
