Jump Frog lures are a topwater lure usually used to target snakehead fish, The lure is fished quickly, hopping along the surface around cover and vegetation. I think bass in Florida are nearly as aggressive as Snakehead and the jump frog should trigger lots of bass attacks. One of my subscribers offered this build as a suggestion (thank you). While I'm not much for building direct copies, I had an idea for what I thought would be a clever modification to the design and that's all I needed to get started. In this video, I go from inspiration to design concept, through the full build and finishing of the lure, and finally, I take lure to the lake for a quick pre-storm fishing session.
