William Ruiz He already created the shape files before he started the video. Shape files are created when you right click on the file in catalog where your data is and then you scroll down to new and then choose shape files. A dialogue box will be opened, then you name it and from the feature type you can choose from the drop down list (point, polylines, polygons etc). Lastly, you choose the coordinates; click on the edit button and then choose either Geographic or Projected coordinate system.

How was the USA map made/what hole was it pulled out of? And what about the population data? How was it pre-delineated into states?? Mind screwed from the start.

Sorry it’s probably very useful to loads of people but, why do you start immediately by mentioning things that you had done before. “I use this thing here that I already created” while I can’t even find the map of Italy in my database that I don’t have..
