I had a 100 rounds of American Eagle on hand cuz it was so cheap...but not accurate...after pulling bullets I can see why...I have struggled a lot with finding a good recipe for my upper...this is the best and so easy with Progressive Press...can pull 3 and then load 3 no spilled powder... thank so much for sharing this John Paul...hope to meet you someday and shake your hand
shortening a neck sizing stem so it does not touch the powder is a good modification. I Mexican match 7.62x39 subsonics and there is almost no neck tension without neck sizing. Mexican match on these loads is great since 7.62x39 brass is like 20 CPR once fired. Plus, I can sell the pulled bullets to 300 blackout reloaders :p
Great video-thank you! As it happens, my Valk, a bolt action Mossberg MVP Predator loves the 77gr Sierra TMK with about 28 gr of Varget. I might just have to try this-thanks again!!
I'm going to try this with some 80 grain elds, thanks for the video. I just got into the 224 this month in the cheap but I think I'll order a jo barrel to try out
Now that there is more data available. Would you recommend a 1/7 or 1/6.5 barrel to shoot the heavier match grade stuff? Thanks for all the info great video
The term came from the Pan-American shooting matches. The competition was held in Mexico that year. they substituted match bullets for standard ball that they had available.
I'm sorry, I can't sit through all twenty minutes. I made it through eleven. I only tried watching because your thumbnail looked like cast rounds. What's with the fake out?
