In this video we will show how to make a modern table with your own hands. We will use epoxy resin to make the diy table and we will make the legs out of metal. We use oak lamellas to make an epoxy table.It won't be a standard table but I think you'll be interested.Happy viewing. We also invite you to watch other videos.

When I look at this beautiful piece, I think of the lines as a life moving through time. Intersections make changes sometimes just passing sometimes with big consequences. Like a snapshot of the fabric of space showing just a few soles and their lives on a path. Some keep to the straight line and a constant focus. It seems that the paths which are more connected are more interesting but who might be happier, who might me more fulfilled? It is nice to rest my eyes on this and think about a wider effect of an individual and how we can change the circumstances of ourselves and each other. Accepting this changes the observation of what some might call chaos and realize beauty as well as adversity can come from any direction. Which line is me and which is my brother and which is a stranger I will never know.......

I love the way you seem to take tools 'out of their comfort zone' & make them work for you. A tool does not have to be a 'one trick wonder' but in the hands of true artists & craftsmen can be extended in their range of uses. This table is so tastefully done it is a credit to both of you. This gave me a good idea. I'm going to make a table like this, but really thick. Then after I cut my lines into it, use my router sled jig to remove the solid backing leaving transparent epoxy lines through the table that I can then backlight.

Me recuerda algunas pinturas de Joan Miró. Un claro ejemplo de como el caos representado por la sierra circular y el formón desgarrando la madera, puede dar lugar a una bella pieza. Enhorabuena! It reminds me of some paintings by Joan Miró. A clear example of how the chaos represented by the circular saw and the chisel tearing the wood, can give rise to a beautiful piece. Congratulations!

Sir, This and the Epoxy River Table without Slab are the finest tables to be seen on the whole of You Tube. You are a true craftsman and an artist. I came to You Tube looking for inspiration for my retirement. You have given me two goals to aim for, although I will be doing so on a smaller scale. Your country should be proud of you. I do hope your skill is recognised beyond You Tube. If I hav one question for you, it is to ask if it is simply clear epoxy that you coat this table with before cutting in that amazingly beautiful design. It should be classed as a work of art rather than a table! Thank you for the pleasure your whole channel has given me and so many others. Neil

Это не лак а натуральное масло-воск для мебели. Я буду только рад. Это шпон дуба.

Здравствуйте. Отличная идея и реализация. А деревянные ламели не разъедутся? Ведь они достаточно толстые значит сила у них значительная и клей (может быть) их не удержит. Знаю, что дерево живой материал, а на что оно способно не знаю. Спасибо!

Very beatiful table. Could someone please open up one thing which is bothering me since I kind of lost track after then planed timber were glued to the underlying board. Video did not show what happenef after that. I see a guy scraping glue out of the joint and after that the bigger guy is cutting grooves with a track saw to a very messy looking board which obviously is the same board that was just glued together. Did they pour dark epoxy resin at this point and coated the whole table with it before starting to cut those grooves?? If so why is that? Why could not they cut the lines with a track saw straight on plain wooden surface and spread the epoxy resin last when the grooves were also cut to the surface? Is it because of possible tear outs when using the saw if the table surface was not coated at first? So the whole table top has to be coated totally with hard epoxy resin before sawing those decorative grooves and when the surface is coated with hard epoxy resin then the saw cuts will be sharper and more clear? Did I understand this correctly? Grateful for the answer 😊

Thanks for a quick answer guys! I am very interested in this technique and I would like to try it one day. May I ask one more question: why can’t all the cuts be made at the first stage after gluing and then fill the grooves and the whole table top last and just one time? Why cut one time without black epoxy resin and then the second cuts after the first cuts and now through the layer of hardened epoxy resin? Are there differencies between the type of cuts in the first and the second round? And how thick was the wooden layer in millimetres? It looked like around 20 mm? Thanks if you have time to answer. And thanks for the great quality videos. It is really relaxing watch these with beatiful music, no talking and very clear way of filming. Please continue. Thanks. Then I get it totally. I did not pay attention enough and just wondered how such a ”reddish” pigment came out so black 😂 So basically what my interest in this is that the glued wooden surface will hold itself in one piece and there are now tear outs even if all the cuts would be made right after gluing and then filled with one thick layer of black epoxy resin if only one color is what I want. This was very informative and I got all the answers needed. Thanks one more time. Now it’s time to make a first try on my own 😊 have a nice Christmas and a New Year !
