After watching Hermitcraft season 7 and then coming back to this video, it’s weird to see Mumbo dressed normally

If you want to build this yourself The portals in the center are one block apart, with the smaller ones being behind the bigger ones The outer ring of portals are 3x3s with five on each side The Redstone for the outer portals is at 3:19 The stacked design is at 3:37 The full thing is at 4:58 The lava for the medium and large portals is on the right Somewhat of the design for the trail of fire is at 7:14 A chain of repeaters and observers for both, but torches after the observers on the piston side of things The switching on and off system is similar to the one used in the portals, but adapted a bit The goblet of lava is pretty self-explanatory, The observer just powers the rest of the system The redstone line that powers the fire trails also powers the portals and also the staircase

I feel like the stairs should should have a little bit more delay before they go up. That way you have the spectacle of the portal lighting, and then it finishes off with the appearance of the practical way of actually using it. I think that would just make it more cinematic. Still epic though

Because there's an observer on the top of the gobelet, I think we should put lava in a hole made of magma, then it goes in a gobelet we can see under the floor, a floor made of black glass

I haven’t played Minecraft, watched anything, or heard news about the newest updates in at least 1 year so every new block and biome in the nether and HOLY HECK BLUE FIRE? It just amazed me. I gotta start playing again.

After a few min Mumbo realized: Oh my nether portal seems to be a zombiepigmen farm... XD

The amount of resources would be absurd, especially the Netherite, but damn I would love to see this in Hermitcraft, just to get the other Hermits reactions if they visit your base through your portal

This looks seriously epic. Just one critique point though: I feel like the back middle portals should have a pulse extender so the portal "collapses in on itself" when you deactivate it

That fire system looks like the thing from National Treasure. You know, when they finally get to the big room and fire just travels in channels along the floor and walls for a really cool effect?

Netherite blocks do look really nice I want to do entire builds with them, but I guess that's not happening in survival.
