a cool sequel to this game would be like Zombies from Call of Duty but you're in darrowshire during the plague , barricade the windows you can use the houses as like cover from the zombies and you use swords and bows to see how many rounds you can survive. trying to protect you and Pamela from the oncoming hordes of zombies and Undead.
Tried it out and beat it after 2 tries! My hands are shaking but I loved the environment, sounds, and the feel of Darkshire was nailed in making this game. My first death was caused by Stitches killing me through a house wall, not sure if that can be fixed but other than that this game was a pleasant/anxiety inducing experience
Lighting is often the final push for the look of objects and ties everything together outside of the assets. As always the details are what sells the look for anything.
Just finished a round, turned in the runes, and immediately looked to the arcanite ripper leaning up against the headstone in the graveyard... AT FIRST, i was disappointment, when I found out I wouldn't be swinging the Face melter around, but that ending completely makes up for any and all expectations I had. thank you for doing what you do! EDIT: just finished the video... the fact that the Arcanite ripper is a tribute to the composer (sound design is phenomenal btw) Bravo!
I just played it twice and got as far as 6 runes, however Stitches got me in the end. He spotted me and I went into a house, but no matter how long I waited out of sight, he wouldn't path away. Overall, great game, Boni! Edit: Also, I couldn't get the in-game menus to work.
Loved my playthrough of this anboni, the ending was SO scary I might have nightmares about it... i have always loved your content buddy keep up the hard work!
python scripting could have come in handy here combing through the assets by name, finding reuse, changing everything to empties Exporting the transforms, etc Should explore that in the future
finished second try! the eerieness makes for such a good experience. A pleasure. My player position wasnt correct tho since I was playing on an ultrawide
Hey anboniwow You do know you can export the mesh of the landscape and import it as a landscape. Sol you can skip the Height map conversion. Just import Mesh directly to landscape. Just saying.
can we all agree that Duskwood should have looked like this from the start in wow .. looks so good i ofc tested the game :D .. just 1 problem i found is that i could not open the map with M
Materialize would help.. Cuz WoW doesn't have PRB Textures. Well some but not as much as UE uses... Get materialize and you can import the main texture and it will make the roughness, metallic, Ambient Occlusion, and Height Textures. And you can tweak each one.
btw, when the individual objects in blender have the same origin like the big map then u should just position them at the same location in unreal and every object should be at the original position- thats at least how i did it in another project
was hoping for a "final result gameplay" segment of the video but didn't really get that. Which is odd because there's a whole section you dedicated to the video called Gameplay.
Love it, but you should know that World of Warcraft (the video game) is not source material for future warcraft material. The books by Chris Metzen make a lot more sense than the game. For example he specifies population per city and such.
I would love it if someone built an RPG settled in Warcraft but without all the big names so it stays legal. Just let me be a no one in some unimportant part of azeroth that can be done without referencing for example Stormwind or anything WoW. Kinda like Skyrim + WoW, that would be a dream
really good game had alot of fun playing it but i noticed a bug... When he saw me i ran into a house but he was staying outside waiting for me to go out even on a tunnel he was glitching around outside waiting for me haha
Man, i've been missing something since BFA and I decided to learn UE5 aswell. Your videos are a huge motivation! Thanks for that amazing stuff! Btw, does anyone know who is Savix?
@@perceptoshmegington3371 I know :P but there was a time were Savix kept saying Who's Anboni, and since i keep waiting for new Anboni UE5 videos I tought it was funny now that I do not see juicy Koreanpistol content. Still love them both, Anboni went game dev and won my heart, that's all it meant
Ah so this is an actual game you kinda work on and perhaps provide some support for rather than just a visual demo you do for a vid and leave and start a new one.
www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/stylized-medieval-house?sessionInvalidated=true I got it for free though. Epic gives random assets for free every month.
If blizzard isnt bothering to take down every private server which are literal copies of the game then i dont think they will care about this tribute to their game
These games always shine the copy-paste asset flip flop style developers (using the word "developers" very loosely here) fill Steam and such out with these days and people are too stupid to see through that bullshit most of the time which is why those developers continue to do so.
