Pro tip: use different grit sand paper to get a smooth finish and save all that putty work, start by low to high grit, I usually start with 220 and finish with 400 to 600. This helps with smoothing out that surface.

I am STILL thinking about this figure after seeing it on Instagram. Your hands are seriously so amazing??? It baffles me how much care and attention went into making a custom figure that ACTUALLY SLAYS. I thought art was tedious enough and now I've been introduced to the patience and repetition of figure sculpting. I absolutely agree on the homemade merch part!! I have tried to make some figures on my own and they came out absolutely terrifying but I just love them so much because the process of making them was so fun!! :)) I even liked them better being terrifying, it gave them character lmao

I stumbled upon this video on accident, but as someone who reads Detective Conan, I immediately recognized this figure of Amuro and laughed my ass off when you pointed out that his ass is too flat. I agree completely. This guy... doesn't have an ass... Though, a lot of people argue that he does. Like. Where? 😭 This custom figure was really cool, though! Reigen deserved a good figure and I love how you utilized this Amuro figure's pose with the jacket! (This character has 3 different names/alias, but "Amuro" is the one I'm used to calling him, lol.)

The pipeline of me watching this video, starting Mob Psycho 100 for the first time, stanning Reigan, and then wanting a figure of my own was ASTONISHINGLY fast 😳

This is great, but I recommend using watered down Milliput to coverup any imperfections. Because it later slightly reactivates with water, if you use a wet fine sandpaper, it leaves a very smooth surface. It takes like 4 hours to cure though, and actually sculpting with Milliput is sort of a headache, so only use it to coverup rough sanded parts. Also, using sculptor's vaseline rather than water is a good idea when using two-part putty, as it stays way longer on the surface, just remember to clean up later when finished using soap.

I was told this recently by my painting teacher, but she said that with acrylics you should just use paint thinner because water breaks down the paint and overtime the paint gets destroyed. I don't know since i usually paint on a canvas with really saturated brushes so i can't tell you that for sure, but it's been enough of a problem for previous students that she had to tell us

Really well done, I've been realizing more and more as I watch channels based around creating things with Polymer Clay, that the more talented the artist, the smaller their channel. It seems like all of the huge channels that make things like this just churn out 1 video a day of them making a quick and heartless 5 minute quick sculpt of Pokemon, Amoonguh, as well as whatever is popular at that current moment.. I found this out while watching youtube with my young daughter. When it comes to huge channels, the mid quality sculpters who bank on popular profitable characters made out of clay as fast as possible to make as many vids as possible reign supreme. When you have far more talent and creativity because you put your heart into making things you actually love, yet for this your channel is criminally underrated. Keep up sculpting, keep pushing yourself, I see you making some really incredible things in the future.

Would definitely recommend a priming spray paint and plastic friendly paints so everything sticks and you don't get that sort of hydrophobic reaction
