Making a Ring out of a $35,000 Bugatti Wheel

Yeah it wouldn’t really work for something as small as a ring. But I do want to make some bracelets from it soon!

The rubber would probably degrade over time

Maybe cut a tire tread pattern into the carbon fibre?

There’s nothing different at all

The waterjet channel goes over a lot of the cool quirks and features of the wheel if you want to learn more about it! It actually has a lot of cool things a regular wheel does not!

As far as the forged aluminum? Nothing. Any other features? Quite a few different variances, considering the forces this wheel has to endure at high end speeds

The only big difference is instead of forged carbon like the one in the video, they use gold or platinum!

14k gold is what will be used!

Or you can tell them to send you their used tires because they only get about 6,000 mi on the tires anyway. And have you make them a custom ring then resell it back to them for $35,000 lol. Make your own money from this. This is genius

@@jadenbuchhop3825 okay? That’s simply not true because a person’s time is worth whatever someone else is willing pay. And many people get paid over $350/hour. But even if that’s true, a lot of these rings have 20+ hours of hand labor in them. So that’s $7k+ in labor right there by your own standards.

@@ryananchors1967 so going off your idea skilled work. Your telling Me you would 7 grand for a steal ring as Long as a someone put 20 hours into something that cost maybe 20$ in materials? And my 350$ an hour is on the low end. I didn't just pull numbers out of no where. I when to the website and figured what it cost. You either are a ritch twaht or someone who dosen't realize money's worth. I know he dose good work. But he literally has gold rings cheaper that the rings from this rim.

@@jadenbuchhop3825 I’m not rich and I didn’t say I would pay it, just that someone will and that’s how value is determined. I think it cost more than $20 in materials since he paid a lot for that rim. Also, it’s aluminum, not steel, but yes they aren’t rare/precious materials but again that’s not what determines value. Diamonds and gold are pretty much worthless. They have some practical industrial applications, but there are also ways to make synthetic materials that work just as well. They’re only valuable because people decided they are.

There’s a link to them in the video description. Each ring will come with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. For example: ring 17 will be labeled as “17 of 50”

I checked their website to see how much they were, and they're only $2200 for the style he made in this video

@Dapper Brick considering how much work went into it $2,200 is a small price tag, especially considering how much of it was done by hand and not just automated machine work. I've seen way simpler rings go for way more. $2,200 is a pretty decent price tag if you're getting it as a wedding ring for a car lover.

That is a fantastic price for a ring that is truly unique and would be an amazing thing to get to show off and tell people about! You'll have an amazing ring for sure!

It was scrap the Bugatti veyron had special wheels and tires or a run flat designed there is only one brand and model tire for this car and the tires only last like 3 or 5 thousand miles but also have a time limit even if only Been driven on for let's say 200 miles the time life is I wanna say 2 years but then the wheels only have a life of a set amount of miles but also 4 tire changes so once a set of wheels has had the tires changed 4 times even if each set of tires only had like 500 miles put on them the wheels need to be changed out also. And if your wondering like hey if I owned one and never drove it other then a few hundred miles a year I would just leave the tires on longer then the amount of time they recommend so I can not have to buy new wheels as soon when u own a veyron the car has to go to a deal evey year or every so many miles and if u don't follow there service recommendations and get the tires changed when they tell u to or try to run a 5th set or tires on a wheel they 1 will not even physically change them for u and being that dealers are the only ones who have the special machine to change that style of wheel and tire but 2nd of u don't do the maintenance as recommend for the entirety of the cars life and u skip on let say oil changes every year even if the car only drover 100 miles it will severely decrease the value of your car so with the value of the veyron rising its in the best interest of the owners to keep up with the ridiculous maintenance schedule and the just timing out of various parts on the car the whole crazy maintenance schedule is cause Bugatti wants to garentee there car is ready to be driven at speeds of 250 mph plus at any moment
