Regarding your comments on the lounge scene 1:09 I'm going to respectfully disagree. I watched this film with no knowledge about it. Parts of it were very confusing. That one lounge scene was crisp, clear, and provided real focus on what the character could do and what the focus was. It sounds like you built up a backstory for the character that did not translate in the film (e.g. I had no idea the character was a widower until I read the movie blurb after seeing the film). I certainly could have missed some dialogue. And if I saw a what was suggested I would have thought he not the police was doing the tracking (and how did he convince the police to help him) and it would have confused me even more as I tried to figure out what was going on in the film. I understand the point your crew was trying to make but the clean contrast was very nice and easy on my eyes visually. I could focus on the pictures ( and understand that they were victims). I think you got that very right. I think other shots, if included could have filled in his story of grief and attempts to heal. Off to watch the film again. Thank you for it.

I think the only way we allude that Jack is a widower (or out of touch with his family) I'd the broken picture frame he comes home to on the kitchen table... in the feature which were working on it all takes place in a matter of days. So Jack's abilities manifesting is all very new and raw, but Ayla discovers what he can do and they team up to stop the sudden wave of supernatural kidnappings and murders... We're going to do another short first which we are aiming to make scarier whilst also being more of an emotional ride than anything we've done so far. Thanks so much for sharing your insights and perspective... It's what I like most about youtube. Whether it's agreeing, disagreeing, debating etc it's so awesome hearing from. Perspectives like yours. Sincerely appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.. and I'm glad someone thinks what I think is a mistake was good lol 😆

IF you can't do this shoot through bit, I've got a tip for any filmmaker that owns ps4. Buy the game Dreams PS4, it's about $40, and you can storyboard shots so easy. I have a video on my page showing an example. I used this method on my latest short film and OMG what a difference it makes to have, I can try out shots, show the team and all from the comfort of my home. I've been doing every project in Dreams, from previzing music videos, short films, sketches. Honestly super easy to use to, I mean it's gonna take some time to learn BUT if anyone needs help let me and I'll help you out!

I remember hearing about that game when it came out... People making fake mario in it or something. Sounds like a fantastic way to use it! Thanks for sharing
