How to make a silver Celtic knot wrist chain bracelet by using circlip pliers.
Making a tight Celtic knot is easy by using this tool.
I’ve called this a Celtic Knot for great SCO results. It’s more commonly known as a Reef knot, Square knot, Hercules knot, Double knot or a brother hood knot.

Nice, really nice. Time is no object to the Smith with an emotionalized idea in mind. Ive learnt that from you Nick, in a very short period of time watching your videos, week, 10 days perhaps. Probably less in fact. I loose track of time while watching. That is the very point I'm trying to make. Cheers Nick, one day I will buy you a drink and a bite to eat.

@@Nickscreativestuff i already have silver grain on the way, i bought some snake chain and fittings from them as i was gonna make bracelets using resin 3d printed beads, then i found you and it changed everything lol

Great fun to be had with casting grain, especially combined with a 3-D printer. I would love to try printing models for casting, however I think it will be just too much for me to learn now … N
@ButtonBasher123
@ButtonBasher123 Год назад
@@Nickscreativestuff if you decide to get one, use a resin printer, the hardest part of that is making sure what ever you create is supported properly and not taking away from quality. im using a 4k printer just thinking on designs as well binge watch your stuff whilst i wait for things to arrive.
@Nickscreativestuff
@Nickscreativestuff Год назад
Marvellous how technology moves on so quickly with resin printers now having the ability to make high resolution items small enough to use for casting jewellery. The only downside is the amount of silver you could get through if you get hooked with techniques like Delft Clay casting. I bought some bronze casting grain from Rio Grande in the US that casts well, looks great and saves the constant use of my precious silver … have fun with your adventures … N

Omg absolutely stunning. And beautiful background music once more. It's absolutely gorgeous now this is not too complicated for me. This I could definitely give a go once I start on silver smithing. Gorgeous it's manly but yet feminine too. Wow do you sell your work nick ? And if so where I've never seen a link like that and I thought I had seen them all. Thank-you for sharing. Kirt

The original video with this design was very popular so I made a few variations on a theme hoping to get as many views. It’s surprising how malleable silver can be when needed and this technique relies on that. The trick for getting this to work is lots of annealing at every step of the way. I only occasionally sell stuff to friends and family, being a hobbyist it’s more about enjoying the pure pleasure of creativity. Making videos and RU-vid is more rewarding than trying to make jewellery to sell and a lot less demanding … N

hi Emma thanks for your comment, the three jaw chuck I used to make the small links I found in a secondhand tool shop I think it’s designed to be used with a lathe. The larger chuck i used to make the initial links was salvaged from a broken drill, I made a quick video showing how I put a handle on it … here’s the link if you want to see it …ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HeuwrlBzxXI.html … cheers Nick
