I giggled every time you said "READY?!?!" before playing your part, while he is sitting there filming you 😂and slightly optimistic with the length of the drum loop initially haha! I love this, what a fun challenge!
@@Aksaarben i was going to cut out the 73 times i said "ready" but i think it adds to the suspense hehehe. thank you !! it was fun and yeah i definitely overshot it there 😭🤧
great stuff!, this is kinda how i work, i just dont give myself five mins though, i do normally like to finish within a day and i use audacity because i'm too dumb to use fancy programs, i love the idea of letting a song be itself without filling it with ego or trying to meet the expectations of others, i cant jam, dont know the notes, and only know one scale but i've still made about 100 songs in the last 2-3 years. really enjoyed your efforts, ended up way better than my janky rubbish! keep up the good work!
@@davidhatred7275 100 songs within the last 2-3 years is absolutely nuts. i think the goal for me was to do as you described, which is making a song without filling it with ego / meeting the expectations of others. i'm also definitely guilty of spending way too long on songs and overthinking every single detail. this video taught me to maybe compromise, and do things a bit more instinctively. i'm sure your janky rubbish is cool janky rubbish, thanks for the comment!
@@NOCTNOCTNOCT no worries i look forward to hearing more of your stuff, make sure you upload some to yt for us! i kinda want to do a song in five mins myself now! looked like fun!
