I am trying to do something with birds for mothers day, please tell me how you did the beaks! Did you cut out sheets of copper or what, i have no clue

In this work I use copper foil with glue for stained glass. I glue it on both sides of the stained glass and glue it together. then I cut out to make shape of the beak. Then I solder the solder on both sides to make it stronger.
