I love Gruff, this video really breaks down the production behind the movie used for the short film.

Despite having all the reason to make Gruff and these behind the scenes and extras behind a paywall I really thank you for making this accessible to us all and allowing to get more enjoyment out of the already amazing Gruff

The labor of love that is GRUFF is truly inspirational and a breathe of fresh air. Reminds me of the Frog and Toad stop-motion series. The creator and his wife worked on it for about a year, and the end result was likewise phenomenal.

The PASSION of this artist had to go through every little detail, even with a two-second shot, carefully crafted. Wow, man, you're truly a phenomenal artist.

I remember as a kid me and a friend would make paper homes and props for our dolls to interact with. It was so fun and I miss those times.

I really enjoyed gruff it really reminds me of my grandfather he doesn't always say it but he still shows and that's what really reminded me of him also this film made me cry like a bitch

Im just a loss for words at the amount of talent and patience he has. I feel like this short film would be one i thoroughly enjoyed as a kid as i really liked movies like coraline and paranorman. If this ever made it to theaters, i would rush to go see it.

I love how you made everything and that during the making of your film you were enjoying it because how ever years for a 9 minutes film is….. a lot😂. Congrats on appearing on CBS Sunday Morning! Honestly this film definitely deserves all the talk. Its very nice and the fact RU-vid led me to this was…at first makinf me curious then once i saw it all, its…just..wow o.o and I honestly never thought to see something in this day and age. Its 2024 and we dont have any of that yet so this really calls back to the time i got interested in watching some paper puppet theater. I wish i knew what i seen but this is honestly making me wonder…will we see more? Is this one off? Will we maybe get to see some more interesting stuff brewed up in the next few years for more short films or really interesting stuff.
