Well my bf and I will be making Baked mac and cheese, 2 whole roasted chickens, gravy, stuffing, candied yams, honey glazed ham, devil eggs, collard green and smoked neck bones, and sweet potato and pumpkin pies😏😉 we are not a big fan of Turkey 🤷🏽♀️ I feel like Ham is more wanted in most households over Turkey 😁
I'm making Turkey chops, dressing, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, rolls, and green beans or collard greens. Cant wait for Thanksgiving I know I'll be eating ALOT of food hehe ^_^

Yes!!! Skip the glaze, I put them both on the fork together! 😋 My two oldest kids don't care for candied yams, but it's a must have for my youngest and hubby. I end up making so many different dishes because everyone has their different favorites.

My favorite is the stuffing, greenbean cassrole, and my potatoes. They aren't mashed but so delish. It was my favorite thing my aunt brought to Thanksgiving dinner. ❤ Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.

Girl I recommend the Pepperidge farms stuffing that’s in the red bag So much tastier then stove top brand & I bake it in the oven with a little cream of chicken & bacon I don’t like dressing much either but after trying the recipe I use now I love it
I used all these recipes to make my first friends giving 2 yrs ago (last yr I didn't host) and it was delish. I save recipe and reprinted it today cuz I plan to make this year. So excited to eat!!!

GIRL! You inspired me. I was so bummed that a few (usually rather ungrateful) family members were suddenly sprung on me & coming for Thanksgiving. I was down on myself for not having a good attitude about it mainly because all the planning & work required without help. BUT, you helped me feel better about it, because I actually do like to cook. 🍎🍏🍰🥧 I look forward to making my favorite and new concoctions each year and having others try it so that I can see if it should get added to the things we bring/made or never seen again lol. This year i made a sweet potato casserole for the family for the first time ever and I'm thinking it needs to make a quick come back again for Christmas. And the pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting were a big hit with my co workers. I definitely wanna try your recipe for the chicken...and that mac and cheese looked good! Personally I've never had collards greens before but they way you seemed to enjoy them made me think I should give them a chance. Thanks for the great video!

For the pumpkin pie, should we follow the measurements in the video? Or the ones in the description? I noticed the heavy cream and half&half were different amounts. Thanks!
The measurements are different because I don’t really measure but try and get closest to what I made in the video and what I would’ve changed. So either or will work! Just remember to taste it as you go as well.
LOL, I agree with you about Popeye's chicken sandwhich, not worth the hype. At all. I liked what was in it, but it needed more mayo and the original pickles they used when they first released the sandwich. Don't like the chik FIL a sandwich at all, very underwhelming. I think Wendy's has the best spicy chicken sandwich of all the Fast-food places.
We all make a dish so it's easier. I make greens with cabbage, baked mac, potato salad, angel eggs, sweet potato casserole and corn bread. It's more like a pot luck for us. We have so much food we give it away to the homeless. That's what we do every year.
