This is the standard most basic work positioning lanyard setup for tree work. It’s a great system that will work for just about anything and all the components are interchangeable with plenty of different options. In the next video I’ll go more in depth on different lanyard system components for consideration when buying and creating your own lanyard system. Hi! Thank you for your videos and instruction! What kind of an attachment do yo have for your harness to make it more like a sliding D for your DRT system? Is it a piece of rope between your side D’s? And can you make an adjustable lanyard using a Prussik loop? Thanks!

For my bridge I just have the standard rope bridge with a rappel ring for my main life line attachment point, it’s just the standard bridge that comes on the Treemotion saddles. You can make a lanyard with a prussik loop and a prussik I just find them more fidgety to adjust than using a an eye to eye prussik cord and a Distel or VT friction hitch.

Thank you! My fiancé gifted me a GoPro Max so I’ve been messing around with editing that 360 video and it’s a blast, I can’t wait to get it in more videos.
