I've seen many IKEA fabrics used in a costume but your Idea to turn the bag handles into ruffles is really really cool. I'd even wear it to a historical outing just to see if people even realize our marvelous creativity. Btw. your mix of English and French is really endearing and I'm glad you share your work with all of us who would not be able to follow your projects in your native language.Your technique to secure the pleats for the skirt is something I really should incorporate in my own sewing. Nice Rococo twerking there! The dress looks great, and SO much work. I think the IKEA straps are fun, but agree that maybe you can fancy them up later. My favorite thing at Ikea are the Swedish meatballs in the cafe.
