Hey Tony, thanks brother! There's quite a lot of approaches to take with it, I was listening to a lot before embarking on this video and although there are many common trends the scope is still quite wide.I definitely need to explore and learn more to capture that authentic sound.

Hey Stefan, thanks for your videos. question: I have been using logic for many years now and have a very fast workflow in there. I got Maschine MK3 a few weeks ago. How do you finish your tracks? Do you make your beats in Maschine (standalone) then export to audio and finish in logic for the final transition elements plus mix&mastering? or you open maschine as a plugin inside logic? what workflow do you think it's faster? any advice would be highly appreciated! Thanks

can u also produce tracks without other software . so just with maschine mk3 and its software ? i thought that was the point of maschine . im a little confused ^^ as a beginner. but i know i should buy something like mk3 cause im more of a drummer / beat guy , i cant play chords .. and i think u can also play some chords and melodys with the mk3 right ? thanks for the video .. very nice job . also listening to afrobeats from begining

Still annoys the hell out of me that one has to work either in maschine OR Logic. Wish it was so much simpler to work in maschine and then cross it all over to logic and keep working. Getting midi from maschine to logic is a nightmare. Utilising them both together maximally is a nightmare.

Hey, it all depends where your install location is. Go into the Native Access App, Click on the little man in the top right, and go to preferences here you can see, or change where your Native content is installed. Hope this helps and sorry for the late reply.

No insult to Stefan but really, is it impossible for Native Instruments to get actual African producers to share the craft? Or is the whole Afrobeat / Afrohouse thing going to be a US / UK fad, with little credit to the people who live and breathe this stuff on the continent.
