Making An Engagement Ring For Molly 

Dear Dylan, I am 73 years old and married to my wonderful wife for 45 years, but I just saw the most romantic loving proof a man can give to someone. This has got to be your best work so far. Happy life together. Do not forget to keep doing woodworking projects however.

Wow, Dylan, you brought tears to my eyes and that's not always easy to do. Molly is very fortunate to be marrying you. The process of making the ring was exceptionally well videoed and the music was perfect. My grandparents were married at 16 and 18. This was the early 1900s and still acceptable to marry that young. They met in first grade and had been by each other's side throughout their 65 years together. I asked them what was their secret to staying married all those years and they said respecting each other and excepting each other how they were without trying to change the other. Never to raise your voice to each other and to never ever go to bed angry. They always started and ended their day by telling each other that they loved each other. They had 9 children and experienced days of wealth and days of severe poverty. But they always made their children feel like they had everything in the world. Even when there was no store-bought toys on Christmas, they would make everything by hand. When my grandfather died, my grandmother was laying by his side and died 30 minutes later. Dylan, be good to each other and I wish you both as long of marriage as my grandparents. God bless.
