Making an I-Cord 

Make an I-Cord with me. You will need the yarn your using and 2 double pointed needles (DPN's) or you can use your circular needles.
Step 1- Cast on 3 stitches, then slide them to the other end of your needle. Take the yarn from the last stitch and pull it across the previous stitches. This pulls the stitches together and forms the I-cord.
Step 2- Knit those 3 stitches, and slide them to the other end of your needle.
Repeat this step until your I-Cord is the desired length.
Once you're done you can insert the I-Cord into the casing as follows:
Insert a safety pin into one end of the cord, starting at the (right hand) hole, feed the cord through the entire casing and go pass the first hole you inserted the cord into and out the second (left hand) hole.
Weave in the ends on your I-Cord and tie a knot in each end.
Voila!! You're done!
