This was perfect as a vanity desk for me. ru-vid.comUgkxMAlHv7-BBWMrPRm5-uEoD6rtdT7SG2Qr Especially the glossy finish. Easy to cleanI was looking for something that wasn't the traditional white and with more of a modern feel. This fit the bill beautifully. I put it together with no problems, by myself in under an hour.Make sure you double check where you place the drawer tracks before screwing down. I had one track that needed to be aligned with different holes than the rest.
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ru-vid.comUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
When I see a notification for another Lignum video my mood changes instantly for the better. Just one click away from more amazing magic. This is the perfect complement to the Spiral Table build. They should be kept together as a set. You nailed it again.
Fascinating video to watch...learn something from you every time, my friend. I love watching your use of the tools that you have...some day when I think of a project that is beyond the scope and scale of what I'm capable of...I'm going to send it your way!
I always enjoy your style of videos. Too much chit chat nowadays. Fantastic work. Well done. I especially like the inset for the base in the bottom of the table top. Great idea.
Using chainsaw to trim down the table edge then ask the bot to finish everything. I like your way, the most simple and the highest tech, nothing in between :). Thank you for sharing. Take care and Stay safe during this crisis time. :)
Love that you chose to go with black resin to fill the cracks. Great contrast with the light color of the oak, and ties in well with the legs. Of course... you already know that since you designed it that way, lol. I also really dig the modern, almost 80's style vibe the shape of the legs give off. That ultra-contemporary look mixed with the natural warmth of the wood. I do have to admit.... I kinda miss the classical music. 😋
Thank you Bruxxus, I'm glad you like the design! I must admit, I miss it too but It's getting really difficult to find some good classical recordings without copyright lately.. And unfortunately, RU-vid refreshes their library with new classical pieces really rarely.. I'l have to start using classical pieces I already used..
@@lignumchannel That's such a bummer! Even though the music is public domain, I suppose that doesn't count for the actual performances. :( Even without the classical music, your videos are still some of the very best out there! :D
First time I’ve seen epoxy used as a base coat. What a great idea! I’m guessing you get a super smooth durable finish that does not look or feel like plastic.
Yeah... I see what you're saying. But in most shops there would always be that one guy to be always glad to give you a crash course on any of the machines and their workings. I know this because I am one of those guys. And this is world wide! It's like a brotherhood for us. We welcome people that have any inclination towards technical stuff. You just have to ask and if you truly like the trade, show interest. Easy! I still don't understand it all but I went along with it. And it paid! Big bucks ands big xp+. But at the end of the day, it's all hard work and you'll feel that on your joints and also on your bank balance. You just have to have the balls to be a man at the end of the day. Either good or bad. Some are good some are not. I have almost 20 years in the trades and so far I can honestly say that its worth it. At least for me. Your experience may differ. You do you.
I love this project, the end result is simply incredible. What I love more than anything about your channel and work though, is that for all the crazy talent and amazing design elements that you go through and need really fantastic tools for, you still use the angle finder from Lidl, along with other tools. I love how you have such professional machinery mixed in with what some would consider "junk" or "trash". Keep up the amazing videos!
