You should play stormworks build and rescue. It’s a super fun game similar to trail makers, besiege, scrap mechanic, and a lot of the other games you play.
Helicopter engines create their own gyroscopic effect which is why it rotated in the air, also there’s an entire aerodynamic blocks tab, and setting the servo power to zero would make them more loose as well. Love your vids and creations :3
For stabilizing the submarine you should set the angle sensor width to 182 degrees so it doesn't roll left and right constantly, and if it still does it try decreasing the speed of the engines and also use 2 engines instead of one to stabilize since its much better to stabilize
I think having the speed of the pistons so high might actually negatively impact performance. The game might not be able to process the physics/sensor logic that fast, meaning the engine will rush to get to the next position, then halt while it waits for the game to catch up, making the engine jerky and unable to build up momentum.
This isnt the case its because the timings werent exact. Ive got a piston engine boat that generates enough thrust to fly and has reached 150mph. Its also got 2 inline 4s to counter the other ones movement. I have an older more stable version on the gallery but it only goes about 50. Still runs perfectly smooth and cant stall it. The faster one stalls and catches sometimes though. Also -100 is faster than +100.
I found your yt channel and I find your content awesome but just some tips and tricks for trail makers. First using two 1x4 blocks next to each other are in efficient of your “complexity” it’s like a block limit on your creation instead use the 2x4 which will only save one block per use but can be a really big game changer. Also the sub wasn’t staying up straight because all the buoyancy was at the bottom it needs to be placed up top. Also for subs I recommend disabling air controls for the seat, you can use the configuration thing and click on the seat to turn it off
I love seeing you work in Trailmakers, as one of your videos got me to buy the game. However I have to say, this is one of the most difficult games to work in because of limited “block” capability and size, and the dev team refuses to make adjustments in plenty of cases. They say “there are ways to get around XYZ” and sure… but for a creative game, you want us to work harder and make things bigger to accomplish small contraptions? Anyway, great video!
if i made an add for this it would be "Introducing the all new Telsa model sea, this new model will automatically turn to the right and will keep you at a certain altitude"
I think your engine problems might be because your crank "journals" are 90° out of phase, yamaha does use this style of engine in some of their motorcycles dubbed crossplane. This style doesn't generally work for anything larger than motorcycle engines due to the unequal forces. Most 4 cylinders have each piston 180° out of phase of the next piston, creating a much smoother engine.
i saw NullAndVoid21 comment this: ''Now build a bridge in KSP '' on making a rocket in poly bridge and i think you should do that Now build a bridge in KSP
