The One Hundred Shores project officially got underway in January, with the goal of making art FROM the water of the Chesapeake Bay to inspire conservation and promote awareness. The project has traveled from Virginia Beach and First Landing State Park up to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, and into the Susquehanna River. At each stop along the way, water has been collected to use in the process of making shirts imprinted with the outline of the Chesapeake. The coordinates of each location printed on the bottom of the shirt.
The project is ongoing, with many more shores to visit. Want to get involved/ sponsor the project?
