Hi turkish here, I'm gonna cry, you're making me cry dude. I lost my house, my loved ones, it's such a hard time so when I saw your post you made me smile for the first time in days. thank you dude thank you
I am currently living in Turkey. There are about 20,000 deaths and 80,000 injured. But too many people are helping. Nearly 45 countries offered assistance, most of which did. Lots of publishers, youtubers (whether Turkish or not) everyone is united. People help either by donating or by sending needed items to the earthquake zone. I would like to thank you on behalf of all Turkey for helping Turkey and Syria in this matter. You are a really good person.
Here in Mexico the turkey embassy can't keep up with the stuff we Mexicans are donating cause here in Mexico we know what it is to be on that sort of situation so here everyone is trying to help with at least food and other items we can send
Thanks to everyone for keeping us in their thoughts and helping through various means. I genuinely thought we wouldn't get this much help from the outside, all this is making me really emotional... thank you all.
Thank you bro bless you for donating im Syrian and your not donating only for the earthquake but for the people with no shelter no good no money... Like if your happy that your in a good country
I'm a Turkish viewer of yours and I lived in one of the provinces that the earthquake hit. My family is okay but my city is essentially gone and we lost my old English teacher who was also my father's friend. I genuinely did not expect this and I am so happy you were able to do this. God protect all those effected, I hope this doesn't happen again. Keep up the good work, love you from Turkey!
@@speedysiddugamer6874 what are you doing? People are displaced and you say lol to that? Please imagine that happened to you or your family. I hope doesnt Happen but how would u feel if that happened to you and someonr tells lol to your comment that you tell that you are dissplaced and your whole City is gone?
Respect for KWOOWK. He doesn't always cook for his enjoyment, but he cooks also to honor people. One of the best chefs. I stayed home that day. Italy, my home, had a tsunami warning that then went off. R.I.P. to our friends' brothers.
Syrian here.. I've been devastated for the last couple of days seeing how incredibly less aid have reached us (well, except if you count the ones that reached after everyone already died under the wrecks).. Thanks god my house didn't collapse, my family is alright and I'm so thankful. But there's something else that collapsed inside me.. any hope left for my country. Thank you, thank you so much for showing care, truly.♥️
Syrian here too, I understand how you feel. I lost the hope for my country to get better, it feels like a property that US and Russia continue to fight on. I refuse to stay there any further.
This disaster was Christmas for the regime. Is there any way to get help to you over the border? I can't believe it took 3 days to get machines to lift rubble. How should people survive 3+ days crushed by buildings. How can such selfishness disguised as politics be more important than human life Getting you help across the border should not be a crime!!
It is very sad how aids aren’t reaching out to you guys as much as it should be. Paypal does not send any money donated if it has the word Syria!!! Because apparently they are afraid of this money reaching Isis . Its all lies and rubbish rules. Allah give you patience to deal with all this. You are strong people hence why your test is tough
@@nadox5259 I know right? Not only US and Russia, we've become a battlefield baisically, whoever wants to strike anyone can strike them 'using' Syria. We've already been wretched for disgusting political nonsense reasons, let alone this earthquake now. Yes, plz go outside if you're still there. I have already been out long ago- and I hope anyone there can find a way to get out.
@@BeTheChange99 Yeah exactly, I feel the regime felt like 'yay, they died by a natural disaster, we don't have to waste bombshells nor poisonous chemicals on them :D". Ruthless, cruel, disgusting. Of course you can help, everyone can help (but just to clarify, I'm not currently there, what I meant by "my house didn't collapse" is my house in Syria which I'm not currently in, but which I will forever call my house.❤️) Anyway, yes sure you can help by donations (posted the link), and by spreading the message. Thx so much for caring ♥️
yesterday me and my family donated a whole bunch of warm clothing (sweaters, gloves, scarfs, jackets, boots) to Syria. I really hope that this can help some of the people who are currently living on the cold streets without a place to stay. sending lots of love to Turkey and Syria and to the people with families or/and friends there❤️
I’m a Syrian and even though it is July right now, it’s still sad to think about. Luckily, I didn’t lose any family members. But that’s not the same for some people. My mom had showed me a clip of a baby (He was probably a few months old) and the people around him were playing with him. He didn’t know that his dad and mom were deceased because of the buildings that fell on them. It’s still sad to think about. I still wonder how sad it must have been for others to lose their loved ones. May God be with them. 🙏🙏
@@mesiroy1234 how do I describe it in English?? We have 14 city's in syria the most that were affected by the war are RAQA which was controlled by Isis, ALEPPO which half of it was controlled by syrian rebles then you have HOMS , DARAA and the one that didn't get destroyed at all was damaskus were the president lives and I can go on and on by i am not good at describing in English so sorry
Nooo we all care about you guys😭 you all are in our prayers. We all are concerned about your situations as it is very difficult. May Allah bless you and make it easy for you and grant you Jannah,Ameen. Love to Syrians and Turks from Bangladesh🇧🇩
this was like 8 months ago now they are good but the bad news some days ago in morocco started some earthquakes that killed more than 2.000 by now, i hope kurdish people reach independance and the earthquakes stop
And you, Turkish, made me cry with your comment of this boy. I'm sending lots of love and support to your people and country from the bottom of my heart and soul from Zagreb, Hrvatska❣
Hi as a Jordanian I happy you made this it is a very cultural dessert and you made it for a good reason and her in Jordan it is not baklava it is baklawa and in most Arab countries 🎉🎉😊
As a Turkish girl; thanks to everyone who helped or even wanted to help but was not able to help. And i am really happy to see you sharing our pain and making our voices heard as i really like your channel
As someone who lives in Türkiye, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Seeing so much people care makes me emotional. I'm not sure about how Syria is doing but I hope they get as much donation, even more and I hope those donations are actually used in helpful ways. These are such hard times, good luck to us all.
I'm syrian and i always thought that our country was left behind and considered off the grid but after this devastating disaster i realized that humanity is one strong power that can't be stopped by anything. Thank you so much for your generosity and support. It means alot.
Even when there wasn't any earthquake, we still remembered you dear brother. There is little we could do as there's very limited access to your place, but you were still on our minds, where we prayed for you. You are a part of the world and you deserve to be treated like all others, and not simply ignored. Love from India🇮🇳
@@Ender-f3z i believe it’s not the right time to say such a thing , both countries (Syria and turkey ) had a rough and hard time recently so you should be able to understand what Syrians have been through 10 years ago , and what they still have to deal with , they didn’t go to turkey because of tourism, they came because it was one of the closest countries to them.
Me and my family live in Scotland but sadly my Dads family from Maraş was living there in the earthquake but luckily they were all ok but some of my distant relatives werent as lucky
I'm from Syria and believe me even after living 12 years of war, there's nothing more terrifying 💔 please help the Syrian and Turkish people. Sanctions on Syria are making it very difficult to deliver help and supplies. Please call for the sanctions to be lifted. Bless you all and may non of you be harmed ❤️
As a Syrian i was very touched by your video and your baklava really looks delicious ❤ thanks for your sympathy and humanity ❤ please help and make duaas that inshallah one day i could see my people and country safe and happy 💖😔
I cried soo much when i found out about the earthquake that occured in turkey 😭 i feel so sad for the people who lost their lives who were trapped under building etc 💔i love turkey ❤️❤️
Thank you Kevin. Seeing content creators around the globe supporting us like you really means a lot for us. I hope this video encourages other food channels to support us. Greetings and blessing from İstanbul.
I live in turkey there has been a major damage most people are left homeless and here people are desperate for you influencers or more global people to reach more people to get more help right now. It makes me so happy to see my favourite content creators being sensitive and trying to be helpful, i say this with sincerity thank you so much for bringing this up and encourage people to donate.
Im from a part of Turkey which was not effected physicaly. We are deeply effected by this disaster. I cant even sleep because sleeping while lots and lots are dying out there is meaningless. Im sorry to say this but loads of Syrian people are raiding and stealing from effected areas and even shoot people. Cops are trying to calm thesituation down but these inhumain Syrian people are callous bastards, regretfully…
My friend is syrian and almost lost his brother to the earthquakes, truly devastating to see what they're going through in syria and turkey. Sidenote: Your baklava looks delicious
Thank you so much for bringing attention to the recent earthquake that affected Turkey and Syria. Your coverage is truly appreciated. I am deeply touched by the help of the international community. Please keep spreading awareness and making a difference. Love from Turkey 🤍❤️
As a Turkish myself, i had a friend that broke his arm and finger in the earthquake he is now ok and continues to play with me everyday, as big of a disaster this was He still recovered. I wish everyone the best
Hi KWOOWK as a Turkish person myself I really appreciate you talking about what people are currently going through and encouraging others to donate along with making this dish it’s terrible what has happened and I hope that many more people will continue to donate if they can 💗💗
I feel so sorry for the people in Turkey and may Allah help them Ameen 💜💜 And your baklava looks amazing ✨ Btw I'm so early that I can't even explain 🥲
@@karadut6820oh hell naw not this again. How are y'all not tired from all that negativity. Some people find comfort through God or the idea of God. And this is their way of showing empathy and support. Its not about who sent the earthquake or not. We get it you're a smartass. Please leave them alone. Thanks 👍
@@mochimao finding comfort by constantly being scared of a higher being that you have to obey its rules and when you dont you get sent to eternal prison for the entire afterlife, sounds comfortable
@@karadut6820What has all that got to do with OP or my comment? Thats your opinion but it has no relevance to the current situation. Everything has a time or place. Now's not the time for all that. But idk, you do you.
Hello from turkey. I am very happy that most of the people I get across on the internet are helpfull like you. thank u and the others so much for ur help. ❤
My mom is Syrian and I’m so happy my grandma lives in Lebanon with my dad side, but my other relatives I just hope none of them got hurt/injured. In’Sha’Allah :(
I am Syrian and this made my day I know it's verry late to say this but thank you for your help I don't live in Syria but I have family there and they were so scared and I was so scared to because of course I don't want to lose them so thank you for your help and I also heard from my family in Syria that alot of people are verry gratefull for your help ❤😊
i had a friend from egypt when growing up, when i was 13 i became homeless, her mom made me something i have never been able to find that was very similar to baklava but it was more dinner focused and not a dessert it had meat and peas in it, its been almost 10 years since i had at but i still think about how amazing it was and how long it lasted me as a kid, i ate it for over a week straight. we ended up growing apart but i still have been looking to find how to make all the different recipes her mom made me
I’m Syrian and I’m happy that you love our food and right now I’m in turkey for the summer weekend in Istanbul turkey is a beautiful country to go on a holiday and there is a lot of tourists in the country like I always see planes flying love syria 🇸🇾 ❤🖤💚🤍
Hello bro i am from turkey and when i see something about my country i always saying wow if you dont believe i am from turkey Dostum baklavaya gerçekten bayılırım
My country never was friends with Syria and Turkey. But such a disaster is something that is too much for us to give a blind eye. I'm proud to see my country sent rescuing teams to turkey in order to try and help rescue and save lives. In moments like this we need to be capable of putting our differences aside and help each other
Thank you, I really want to cry right now seeing this wonderful dessert from a wonderful region in my wonderful country, which is in ruins right now with my people going through literal hell. Your support means a lot, thanks for raising awareness and encouraging people to donate, and that baklava looks amazing!
I have been following your channel for a long time and as someone who can't go home because of the earthquake it brings a tear to my eye to hear your supportive words. Thank you.
Thank you for using your platform to highlight the plight of our brothers and sisters in Syria and turkiye. the pictures and stories from the disaster have made my problems seem miniscule. You've done a good job. My respect for you has increased ten fold. Love from 🇵🇰
when this was happening, most of my relatives were living in turkey. luckily it wasnt near the earthquakes, but my heart goes out to the people who lost loved ones during that time ❤
My grandparents live in Turkey. Where they live has thankfully not been affected, but it is so sad to see the number of lives that have been lost, the families that have been torn apart, the cities destroyed and damaged. Do what you can to help, even if all you can offer are your prayers - they are some of the most powerful things you can send to people in need. ❤
