I lived in Holland for a year back in the 80's and loved Christmas time from sinterklaas and Zwarter Pete. I loved the making of a paper shoe to put on the fireplace for presents.

I'm having so much fun watching you and your guests make holiday ceramics. It's such a cute idea. In English there's an expression "That apple didn't fall far from the tree" which means to point out how much a parent and child are similar. It seems like you and your dad are so similar creatively. Plus the way you joke with each other is so so funny (drunk beer drinking flexible gnomes walking around in the forest with big flat feet.)

I think it is a wonderful way to get into Christmas spirit ❤ 🎄especially I love to get to know other Christmas traditions -thanks! 😅 The gnomes are very cute. I like your color choice, I think I would have take just a bit more black color off with the sponge, but that is my own opinion 🤫 I find it quite interesting that you use vinegar for attaching your pieces and it works so well for you, before I never saw someone using that technique. 🤔 Best greetings from Germany! 🧑‍🎄
