I think the universe is talking to me. I had dinner at a friend's house the other day and dessert was served in a glass coupé shaped similar to this. Mentally I added the style to my 'try and throw some' list. Here you are popping up on my channel recommendations showing me how to get started. beautiful work. Thank you!

Wonderful! After watching your process, Nymphae coupes seems an even more fitting name for these beautiful pieces. Gorgeous music too! Thanks for sharing this.

Yes I saw them after I had start making these, and was surprised how similar the process was! Yet the pieces turned out quite different, so interesting. And thank you!

Please 🙏 I am stumbled on your video by miracle I am from other side of the world 🌎 and I have purchased pottery wheel like yours exactly, I need to learn how to start basic first thing and how you dry your clay how do you don’t have cracks and how you made bottom of each piece?? What you put underneath, I would appreciate if you make videos for that purpose please 🙏

How long does it take for the stem and foot to completely dry be you bisque fire??
@issey-roquet
@issey-roquet 7 месяцев назад
Not much longer than usual, since I trim the inside of the foot all the way into the ball part, it’s not actually as thick inside. Depending on the weather, it can take 2-4 days for everything to fully dry.

Just curious.... why the hole in the bottom of the foot instead of leavimg it solid?
@issey-roquet
@issey-roquet 6 месяцев назад
It makes me it much lighter to hold. And allows the inside of the ball part to dry faster. If the inside isn’t dried properly, it can break during the firing.
