I love it! I have seen so many people doing beautiful perfect journals and I am always thinking that mine cannot even compare to them because all the imperfections that mine have that I get a little sad that I really try but still have some mistakes. But you are totally correct, hand made can have imperfections!

Thanks for the video! I’ve been wondering how people make the pockets and things out of fabric scraps! I just got a sewing machine for my birthday, so I can take my junk journals to the next level, and I’m finding it quite intimidating! My threads always get tangled, so it was encouraging to hear the trials you’ve been through with your sewing machines. I’m really impressed with your patchwork covers!
Thank you! Yes sewing machines can be intimidating. I still get my stings tangled -I’ve found that adjusting the tension helps with that - maybe give that a go. Thank you so much for watching and keep me posted with your sewing adventures!!
Hi Amber, I'm a new subscriber & enjoyed seeing your take on a collaged fabric cover. Not long ago I found 5-6 collaged covers I did 2-3 years ago. Because I slow-stitched on them I think I've subconsciously been hoarding them because of all the hours of labour & TLC that went into them. Maybe the next batch s/b less labour-intensive.They'd still be awesome because of the scraps used up & the handmade look. ~Hazel
