Making Cranachan with Peter Sawkins from GB Bake Off 2020  

I got to make Cranachan and talk about its history with the 2020 winner of Great British Bake Off Peter Sawkins. Here is all the detail of how to make it.
Cranachan, the uncontested King of Scottish Desserts🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👑 Recipe:
Oats:
30g butter, melted
30g demerara sugar
75g oats
Pinch of salt
Stir all ingredients together. Bake at 180ºC fan for 20 mins stirring halfway.
Cream:
300ml double cream
60g honey
3 tbsp whisky
200g raspberries
Whip the cream with the honey and whisky until thickened
Stir through half of the raspberries and most of the bake oats, retaining 2 tablespoons for decoration
Crush the remaining raspberries, retaining a couple for decoration.
Spoon the mixture into the glass halfway, layer over some crushed raspberries then top with more cream mixture.
