Thank you! I'll have to look around for something to take care of the handlebar wires, or maybe go internal? Yeah, another project would be fun and maybe about time. What would you suggest as a base?

@@HeavyMetalParkingSpot ooh that's a challenge to ask .... there are so many bikes that lend their style to certain ideas ..cruisers become Choppers bobbers or baggers , commuter styles seem to end up as scramblers or cafe racers .. the race rep bikes a lot seem to end up as street fighters some get a radical modification and end up as something total unexpected but with a wicked fast engine. I personally would set myself a budget and as a challenge ask the subscribers what they think you should do to a bike . However I think it would be the best challenge is to buy a random bike first then choose a comment and run with it . Real challenge is setting a budget and sticking to it .. let me know how that sounds . And keep up the great videos

Sticking to a budget is a real challenge. I definitely noticed that with my first build. Especially if you still have to invest in a lot of tools...but I guess that never really stops 😅

@@MotoWrenchers I'm not so sure the budget is really the hardest part of any build providing you allocate accordingly and estimate the costs realistically before you set the limit. . I've always found regardless of how many we build I always find it's time management that's harder to keep to.. that little bracket or that mod might not come to much in monetary value but it can really cost on the hours ..Even with a deadline it's a very hard thing to actually achieve a timely build

@@garyyorke1080 Personally I'm mostly into choppers/bobbers right now, and for me to be able to pull a project like this through I need to be excited about it. I'm not sure when there will be another build. I still have some things I want to get right on this one. Haha, I kind of had a feeling! 😉 There are larger paracord, but only by a few millimetres. I'm still trying to come up with a creative solution for those really thick cables. Yeah, the number of the beast is up next! 🤘

​@@HeavyMetalParkingSpotWitch such high handlebars, the cables & wires are always particulary noticeable. Then you just have to convert to "drive by wire".... 😁 Maybe it woud help to relocate a part in the handlebars and give the clutch & throttle cable a different color? 🤔 I'm sure you find an even better solution! What actually happened to the unique coffin tank? Did I miss something?

@@michaelelse9328 Yeah, you are right! I could go internal throttle and wires? I like the thought of highlighting the cables instead of hiding them, I actually already have some ideas regarding that. I don't think you missed anything! I had some problems with it leaking, and since I can't really weld, I just put tons of weld on it, and it did seal, but at the same time it looked like crap. 😅 So when it was time for paint I decided to not go through with all the work it would take to make it look good, and went with the stock tank instead. BUT! I'm already planing om making a second attempt at a coffin, with I slightly upgraded design and hopefully better welds. Stay tuned for that! 🤘

I'm already dreaming about the next bike. Not sure when or what it will be yet. I really like the look of early 90s VN1500, and the VN800 looks really killer with that hidden rear suspension. Those are definitely contenders.
