Had a go at making slugs for the HDS .68, using the Slugmaker68. I need to fill them a bit higher with the glue, but they turned out ok ish. #homedefence-24 #slugmaker68 #slugmaker

I make my own rounds, and I add glow-in-the dark pigments, for fun in low light. Charge them up on a light, and plink in near darkness! Like “Lightning bug” tracers. Now go find your ammo with night-vision! I also use wooden kabob sticks for launching things beyond the muzzle. Corks Marshmallows, name that load! Feeding ducks...

If you had the 68 revolver magazine, could someone use that the same way? It's essentially the same thing except plastic instead of metal

And here in France we can have a HDR up to 20 joules, so plenty of potential for extra power mods.

What I'm wondering is if you sleeve down the barrel to .50 cal and extended it double the length of the stock barrel if you'd pick up more fps like BB guns or pellet rifles. I have the 7/7.5 j USA version they do not sell the over powered version here ironically cuz fire arms are to easy and no laws on air guns lol. I'd love to see if you could get anything modded up, I'm planning on modding mine up to the 16 j or over powered USA no limit see what you can really get out of it.

I get just over 20 joules from my modded hds which started off at 7.5 joules. They now do a shot shell for the hds, where you can use 50cal projectiles in it. I’ll be doing a video in the new year on the shot shell.

@@Maddogairguns nice that's awesome, I'm thinking about sleeving mine down and extending the barrel and chronograph it to see if you gain the 10-15 fps per inch like other air rifles

So I did end up using 1/2"x 12 or 15mmx13mmx300mm aluminum pipe for wind chimes off of Amazon. Which is a touch to big to fit the t4e 50 cal ammo so I just added tape to the rounds. They are 20.06 grams and travel 354 fps which is 5.62 ft. I'm impressed since it's half the weight but is hitting same ft lbs as stock .68 cal

Ok so I modded it with that brass pin hole top hat out and the restrictor out and I'm getting 580 fps with .50 umarex rubber I'm guessing they are 1.3 grams

Have you tried 3d printed ammo? Looks like some people print the housing and push the metal ball inside.
